Our artist made disrespectful comments towards his customers (ex: Where do you want me? “You can’t be saying that to me, y’all need to calm down!”) as well as his employees (ex: “Its like herding a bunch of kittens or babysitting five year olds. But this is what I wanted, an all female staff!”). He paused several times during our tattoos to chit chat, make phone calls, or take videos of himself to send to other clients. He acted annoyed when we asked for stencil placement changes and did not provide sanitary coverings when they were finished. Payment was not discussed until AFTER several of our tattoos were finished. There were five of us and ALL five of us didn’t get IDed until AFTER we were tattooed. As well as wavers we were asked to sign AFTER he had finished. My tattoo looked nothing like my reference photo, seeing as he looked at it one time before putting the needle to my skin. I will admit that it was my responsibility to look closer at the stencil, but I’ve had artists previous stencil line work and free hand detail. I was wrong to assume that this would be the case. Attached is a picture of my tattoo (in black), and my reference photo (in red). I feel bad for the young women who work under this man. An overall...
Read moreI have been reaching out for months trying to find an artist that could do the tattoo i was envisioning in my mind and no one was wanting to do it. I reached out to Clayton and he was super friendly over the phone and said he could get me in the same day. I was so excited. Got to the shop and he was super friendly. We got what i was wanting drawn up and i loved the result of the drawing. He made it a fun process not something that you just sat through. He makes you feel included in your own decision. He cleaned his work space very well before we started and it made me feel like i made the right decision even more. We started the tattoo process and instantly felt like i had to pass out. He noticed and had me a drink and an orange in a heartbeat. He gave me time to get my blood sugars back and balanced. And then we got back to it. He had a very light hand and when i needed a break it was no problem! Found my artist i was to do all my pieces! Such a great shop and would...
Read moreVery nice shop! Friendly vibe and clean. I went in for a tattoo cover up, I was looking for hypo-realism, red roses on vines and leaves. I had a picture. This was supposed to be the start to a couple of sessions until completion.. but I’m looking for something more delicate, fine line, less black outline, less graffiti looking. I really want it to look like oil painting on my skin. While Clayton is a great tattoo artist. This is more harsh than I wanted.. I was looking for dainty cutsy, demure… I think I got Guns N’ Roses… biker chic … Great tattoo but I will likely allow this to heal and attempt another cover-up… more like the pictures Ive...
