I thoroughly enjoyed the food here! I didn't think I would, but it was seriously delicious Indian food!! Anytime you go to a buffet, you're taking a risk. While I did do the buffet in order to try as much as I could, they do offer a full menu to choose from. I will start by saying that the goat curry was my favorite dish of the day! The flavor was complex and delicious. The chili chicken was also a fantastic dish. They also had this cabbage dish with coconut that made my insides so happy! This place has a phenomenal way of dialing down the natural sweetness using savory notes that made it hard to stop eating! This leads me to dessert (the only plate of food I took a picture of). I had the saffron and coriander soaked cake balls, which had a wonderful flavor and the texture of French toast that was slightly undercooked. Next was a pineapple and cream-of-wheat pudding cake thing that was so effing tasty it was stupid (I ate 3 portions...) Last on the plate was a mango and apple custard, which was not my thing, but my wife loved and went back for more. This place is definitely worth trying if you have an adventurous palate. I wish the spice was stronger across the board, but I'm guessing it's tamped down to accommodate a wider range of patrons. That being said, if you order off the menu, you can order the...
Read moreDon't be fooled by the exterior or the interior the food is wonderful! I don't know what type of restaruant it used to be, but it's an old building. The family has painted and fixed up the place, but it seems a bit tired sometimes. It's clean and it's a busy place. They have won best Indian Food in OKC several years running so they are doing things right. They have a buffet available as well as a menu you can order from. They also have a to go special that I wish all buffets would adopt. They don't charge you by the pound they have to options. 2 proteins and 3 sides for under $10 and 1 protein and 3 sides for under $10. They will fill your to go box with your choices and the two of you go around the buffet. They seem to have a lot of Door Dash customers as the pickup area always has sacks ready for the drivers to deliver. They have standards on the buffet, but sometimes will put something out that I've not tried or heard of and it's never disappointing. The service is quick, efficient and very friendly. There is a banquet room for parties available. They do have a couple of TV's, but don't expect sports, news or cooking shows. You're going to get Mr. Bean on one and gospel music on the other. They sound is turned down low so neither...
Read moreI came to OKC for a weekend trip. So im not familiar to the area. So I did look up on Google for Indian buffet , I read the reviews and I was hesitant but I decided to give it a try, :((( big mistake ,
The cost will be somewhere around $20 plus not bad at all for good quality lunch but this is far from Indian food 😳 with total respect I am not sure what ingredient quality they are using? I am so concerned to the point that I might call the health department 🚨 because the goat meat taste like plastic,I eat at a lots of Indian restaurants and I know what goat meat should taste like it was nothing like goat meat it was so tough like plastic. ( I doubt it was goat meat )
The negative reviews they have currently posted are 100% accurate and I believe strongly the other good reviews simply never had quality Indian food before and they don’t know the difference, read one of the One star review the gentleman who post it is Indian
The owner of this restaurant is simply relying on his 4.3 stars to continue the practice of very low poor quality ingredients , if you want Indian food you must try different places and you will know the...
