We planned a large party for my mother’s 86th birthday and booked The Modern to accommodate the crowd. It was FANTASTIC!! I can’t give enough gold stars for the experience we had! The room is huge, has a wonderful kitchenette with tons of counter space, beautiful restroom facilities and close parking. Having tables, chairs, linens, and technology INCLUDED in the rental fee was outstanding!! It made the planning super simple for us and the space looked AMAZING! The Modern Event Center has a Staff that genuinely cared about our event. When I booked the space I thought I’d handle all the details even though they have a first class Event Planner on staff. As our date approached, however, life got busier and busier. Soon I was almost in a panic about certain details. I contacted the Event Planner at The Modern, Bria, and she used her vast knowledge and connections to complete my dream set-up within hours!! What a relief! We hosted our child’s 4th birthday party at The Modern, and I can’t recommend it enough! The event center created the perfect space to bring everything together. It was clean, beautifully set up, and had such a warm, welcoming feel the moment we walked in.

One of the things I loved most was how versatile the space was. They offered access to trusted vendors for things like balloon arches and other décor, which made everything so much easier. There’s even a large projector screen you can use perfect for slideshows, movies, or anything you want to personalize your event. The center also has fun, kid-friendly activities available if you choose to use them, which is such a great option for busy parents!

The staff was helpful, professional, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for families. You can tell a lot of care went into making this a space that works for all kinds of celebrations.
