One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at. I booked this hotel for a 2 ½ week business trip. I am very glad I did! The Hotel manager and staff were very professional, friendly, and accommodating. The Hotel and room were very clean. I stayed in a King Suite, which was very spacious. The kitchenette area was very clean and included all dishes and utensils you would need and included a full-size refrigerator with freezer. The bathroom was big, clean, and well stocked with towels. The bedroom was comfortable and offered all the room you would need to store your belonging for an extended stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the blackout shades were great! The breakfast was great, with many options and always stocked and the dining area clean. The Hotel Manager, Mariela, one of the best Hotel Managers I have ever dealt with. I had an issue where my door lock stopped working and I could not get in my room. At first, I thought it was the key, so the desk clerk reprogrammed it and still nothing. We thought it may be the batteries, so the desk clerk was going to pass it to Maintenance and ask them to fix it while I was out for the day. Upon, my return, the lock was still not working, so I went to the front desk and asked. The desk clerk on at the time did not know anything about it so she went up to use her master key to try and open it. Nothing. So, she called the Manager, and she came right up to the room to try and help. She tried her master key, and it did not work either. She had her part-time maintenance person come up with a re-program tool and new batteries. She re-programmed the lock, and it still did not work. She ended up having to use an emergency key to get me in. She determined that the lock would need to be replaced. However, her Chief Maintenance Engineer was on vacation and the young man filling in, was not familiar with replacing locks. So, she called the Chief Maintenance Engineer and even though he was on vacation, he came in and replaced the lock. This was all done with in an hour of me getting back to my room! The only Con I could come up with is the intersection of the hotel road and Mustang Road. It is not an actual intersection with stop lights/signs so if you try to leave during a busy time, expect to only make right turn out of there and then make a U-turn down the road to eventually get back to I-40. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely be staying at this...
Read moreThis was honestly the best hotel we have stayed at in Yukon so far. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, the bathrooms were clean.
We got the handicap accessible room and it was really nice. It had plenty of room. And the bathtub and toilet had plenty of grab bars. They also had a shower chair in there. However the shampoo, conditioner , and body wash are attached to the wall and while I can stand to get them, they would be really inconvenient if you could not. That being said they are full size bottles so you don’t have to ration your soap. Also it was impressively clean. Like they’ve done a really nice job keeping up with the nooks and crannies in there.
Our room had a kitchenette which had a large microwave, and small but full size fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, and if needs you can request a portable cooktop. Also a nice large sink with a garbage disposal. Which wasn’t working… but we didn’t really need it and they put in a ticket to have it fixed. The bedding was very soft and cozy. The pull out sofa made a full size bed with the bedding already tucked away in a cabinet.
Speaking of cabinets. Holy cabinet space Batman! There was plenty of storage. We had two adults and two teen boys and had more than enough space to put away all our things. There were lots of lamps in the room. The windows had electric shades with a light blocking shade and a separate light filtering shade. The room smelled nice and fresh when we arrived.
The breakfast buffet had a great spread. They were very quick to refill things. They also have a little coffee and tea area available 24hrs with coffee and tea and hot chocolate. We did not get in the pool but it looked very nice as did the gym. The lobby was adorable with lots of nice seating areas and a tv.
THE STAFF!!!! They were always so gracious and wonderful. Alita, Josh, and Kush(sp?) we’re especially awesome. Knowledgeable, kind, and helpful anytime we needed anything.
There was also plenty of parking available.
Honestly 4.5/5. I would definitely recommend and we will probably stay here anytime we are in town.
The only thing I would take points off for are the noisy elevator that was a bit scary and the coffee situation in the rooms. The provided coffee is awful. And the vanilla and hazelnut creamers had a very weird taste. Better coffee would really upgrade...
Read moreI chose this Home2 Suites location in Yukon, OK, for a quick business trip because of the Hilton brand’s reliability and the promise of suite-style comfort with easy access to amenities. The digital key and seamless check-in/out process via the app was a huge plus—super convenient for someone on a tight schedule, letting me skip the front desk hassle entirely. That’s really the only reason this gets 3 stars; the Hilton perks make it functional, but the room and overall experience were disappointing for the price and brand. The suite itself felt worn and neglected. The couch in the living area was beat-up, with sheets haphazardly draped over the cushions to hide the damage—definitely not the fresh, modern vibe I expected from Hilton. Cleanliness was a bigger issue: there was hair left in the shower drain, visible mold spots along the shower edges, and the bathroom and kitchen floors looked like they hadn’t seen a mop in days. To top it off, there was some sticky liquid spilled on the kitchen floor that I had to clean up myself. For a “home-like” suite, it felt anything but welcoming. The pool area was another letdown. The website explicitly says it’s open all night for late-night swims or relaxation after a long day, but nope—it closes at 11 PM sharp. I was counting on that for some unwinding after meetings, but ended up out of luck. And the mornings? Forget trying to focus. From 7 AM to 11 AM, the housekeeping staff was incredibly noisy—banging carts, loud chatter, vacuuming like they were in a race. It sounded like they were right outside my door on purpose, even though they were just two rooms down. I had work to prep for a big meeting, and it made concentration impossible. When I checked out, sure enough, they were hovering nearby. Bottom line: The convenience of Hilton’s tech and brand loyalty points kept this from being a 1-star disaster, but the subpar maintenance, spotty cleaning, misleading info, and disruptive noise mean I won’t be back at this specific location. If I ever book another Home2 Suites, it’ll be elsewhere. Average at best—fix the basics, and it...
