I struggle with even giving this hotel a one star rating and am doing so only because they will not allow me to continue to move forward with the review. We were traveling from 5 hours out of town and once we go close, we punched in the address. This lead us down a gravel service road. We then punched in the address two more times, again not leading us to the hotel. (We got the address from the website, and hotel reservation.) We then decided to call them because at that point we had been driving around for an hour trying to find them. We were then given a different address entirely by Bless at the front counter, who told us that the address listed on their website and apparently everywhere else, was wrong. We checked in and went up to our room to find that our fridge was not working and was iced over on the inside. I went down stairs to see what we could do about that. He then told me that he would get me in another room just across the hall. I asked that he go up and check the fridge before switching us. He came back down and told me everything was good. I went up to this room and the fridge was not working. At that point we had spent almost two hours with driving around aimlessly trying to find the place, that we decided to just drop our stuff and go. We returned at about 11:00pm that night where I stepped in something sticky and brown on the floor, the drink that we had placed in the fridge was still not cold, and my dog found food underneath the nightstands. The floor had this grime/dirty feel to it where I had picked up all of our bags off the floor because it was so dirty and was walking around in my sandals from being grossed out by the floor. I decided to grab the drink that was not cold, and go down stairs to see who I could speak to then. I ran in to you a very nice woman, who I will not name for her own privacy, who the past two days was going through some very personal things and could not keep her emotions together. She told me that she was told if she did not show up to work that day that she would be fired. Coming from working somewhere in customer service, that never would have happened at a company that truly cared about their employees. I then asked when a manager would be there so I could address the problems we were having. She told me they should be there about 7:30am the next morning. We then decided that night that we would be checking out of the hotel that morning and going to another one for our last evening in Oklahoma because of the experience we were having the filth of the room. When we went down the next morning and were told that they would not not be coming in till 10:00. We had plans with the family we were visiting so I asked to be called and I checked out. We did not receive a call till about 12:00 where I was then told that he would not be able to give us a refund and that we would need to call Hotels.com to do that because we booked through them. He then proceeded to try and get me to come back and stay another night for free. I told him absolutely not and that I would go ahead and call Hotels.com. He would then say "let me see what I can do" and then say that he can't do anything and would try and get us to come back again. After we speak to Hotels.com today they said that because it was a "pay there" arrangement that the location would need to give us the refund not them. Hotels.com proceeded to call the location and they claim they cannot find our reservation in their system. Hotels.com gave us a credit to use on their website for the inconvenience. DO NOT COME HERE. THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES AND THEY DEFINITELY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.

This is the fourth year that we've been staying at this La Quinta property because of the proximity to our kids in Yukon and related events (graduations, family gatherings, etc). Over the years, we've much enjoyed the hospitality offered by the staff of the La Quinta, though each year there seems to always be a glitch that mars an otherwise perfect hotel experience. This year was the same. We had a king suite on the third floor and as usual, the room was large, well-appointed, and immaculately clean -- though the wall behind the loo was soiled, the loo leaked, the closet doors were off their tracks, and the shower curtain was hanging by a screw thread and nearly fell on me twice (if hotels are going to use the curved bars, they must find better ways to secure them). As we've always experienced in the past, the staff was friendly and professional -- though sometimes not prepared to handle situations without management input. The second day of our stay, we noticed a man banging on the next room door, and shouting to someone inside. From the exterior, we had seen our neighbor's room -- drapes blowing through the open windows, a fan (a fan?) in the window. The next morning, my car was parked below her room and when I went downstairs, I found my vehicle littered with women's clothes and undergarments, the window screen smashed and resting on the car, and trash strewn everywhere from the third floor. I dragged the screen to the front desk, and the clerk there was intimidated, and really unable to address the situation. I complained about the underwear on my car and the trash, but she didn't seem to know what to do, or whether there was a manager available. The next day, the occupant of the room was obviously having some kind of mental health crisis and was lying in the hall outside our room, with her belongings arranged around her and crying. I tried to speak to her, but she was beyond approach. I was in a hurry to leave, and went by the front desk, but no one was available, so I waited to see if the situation had been resolved on my return. It was rather disconcerting that a fellow guest would be ignored by staff in this way when she was clearly in distress and there was a camera RIGHT ABOVE HER. Why hotel staff did not do anything or contact someone to assist her, I do not know. I really like this La Quinta, but I think it may be time to find a new place (there are several new properties open) to stay when visiting family in Yukon. As is the case with so many urban/suburban hotels recently, the weekends seem to be a time for locals to book and party -- we tried spending some time at the pool, but with the number of unruly kids, drinking parents, and lack of any rules, it was difficult. I know hotels have to balance their booking ratios with hard times, but at some point, management has to let guests know that their behavior is a detriment to future business. It's time for this La Quinta to take matters more seriously.

Just awful. I used to think of La Quinta as one of the nicer of the lower middle range of hotel brands. Man was I wrong. First of all, the stain on the furniture came off on our clothes and ruined 3 articles of clothing permanently. We complained and they switched us to a new room which took an entire day out of our vacation. They offered to refund us $75 for our troubles which honestly is not enough but they said that was all they could do. When the refund did hit our bank it was only $23. The staff seemed pretty clueless and reluctant to help. More often than not we couldn't find anyone at the front desk at all. On top of that they left their utility rooms and closets open and on the main floor in front of the only elevator they kept a fan on a chair clowning into the laundry room. It was weird and annoying to navigate around. The waste bins for dog feces was full and overflowing and was not changes while we were there despite telling them twice. And the furniture in both of the rooms we stayed in was not only uncomfortable to the point of being unusable but disgusting with stains all over them that did not look like any attempt to clean them was ever made. Both rooms and spills and splatters on the walls that had not been cleaned. There was old food left in the microwave. The ac unit in 331 was awful. Oh and if you travel with your dogs, you cannot leave them in your room unattended or they charge you $300. I've stayed in lots of 2 star hotels and this ranks up there with the worst.

I stayed at the Yukon La Quinta on May 17, 2017. I arrived at about 4:30 pm. I am a paraplegic and can not stand or walk. I travel often and many times I travel alone. On this occasion I was alone. I arrived at the La Quinta on I-40 in Yukon Oklahoma. I had to park some distance from the door so I needed a little help. I went inside and told the clerk my name. I went to the room to check everything, the bed was way to high for me to manage. I returned to the front desk and informed the clerk the shower was good but I would need someone to remove the base of the bed. She replied we don't have anyone to do this. I ask her to call the manager as he should be familiar with the accommodations for wheelchair travelers. With hesitation she called him and turned to me and said the manager said it will be taken care of between 6:30 and 7. It was 4:30 at the time. I said fine as long as it gets done. At this time I ask if she had anyone to help me with my shower wheelchair. She replied no everyone has gone home. A guest that was in the lobby said I can help you with your stuff and he followed me to the van and pushed the chair to the room for me. I offered him money but he refused and said I saw your disabled military license plate on your van and thanked me for my service. He said if theirs anything else he can do for me. I said no he had done more than was expected. He replied that he heard the discussion about the bed. I told him the manager said it would be taken care of. He nodded his head and said we'll see. At 7 pm my room phone rang. I answered and it was the clerk she said the man that pushed your wheelchair in will come and take the bed apart. I ask her if she was going to allow a guest to do this. Her reply was yes. The gentleman knocked on my door and said he figured this wouldn't get done as he works in the oil fields and has been a guest for several weeks. He ask what I needed done to the bed. I explained and he started removing the frame. The clerk came to the room for some reason while he was sitting the box spring and mattress on the floor. He ask her where do you want me to take the frame? She said I don't know. At this time I told her to call her manager again as this would be a safety issue with the frame against the wall so close to the bed. She was hesitant but I insisted. She stepped in the hall and called him. I heard her end of the conversation. When she stepped back into the room she stated the manager said " it is against La Quinta policy to remove the bedframe. I said I don't think this is true it's been done for me several times. She said it has to stay. At this point I said fine if it falls on me it will be on you and the manager. She quickly said not on me it was the manager that said it and she left. The quest said he wasn't surprised as he has seen bad behavior from the staff several times. He did the best he could to arrange the frame so it wouldn't fall on me. Again I offered to pay but refused. The following morning I managed to get all my belongings out to the van with no help as it was slightly down hill and left Yukon. I received the survey for my stay from the corporate headquarters. I informed them in the reply what had happened I told them I have the other guest name and phone number and pictures of him taking the bed a part. I received the generic auto reply that they would look into the situation and get back with me. The following day I received another email from the manager of the Yukon location stating " I’ve read your comments about your stay at La Quinta Oklahoma City - Yukon.  WOW – not the type of experience we want you to have!  Our goal is to provide you with a positive, memorable experience each and every time you stay with us as our guest.  I’m sorry that we didn’t do so for you.

"I hope you’ll consider returning once again to La Quinta Inn and Suites.  I’d like to offer you 1,000 points deposited in to your Returns account to come back and give us another chance.  These points would be active within 24 hours of us hearing from you." I will never be...

This place was absolutely horrible. Including staff, place, service, and anything working properly. Me, my fiancé, and my 3 month old daughter booked a presidential suite for 2 nights visiting family. First night we get there we go to get in our room and our key doesn’t work nor did the people down the halls worked either. So the worker get the “master key” which is supposed to open any and all doors in the hotel. Well it worked for the other people but not us so worker tried to move us to the room next to it and of course the key won’t work. He then proceeds to go back down stairs to get the “master key” and comes up again and what do you know it’s doesn’t work of course! My fiancé earlier on suggested moving us to a different floor because his brother had no issues on the 3rd floor the guy then makes a snappy and rude remark “i’m pretty sure i’ve worked here for 10 years i know what i’m doing” and later on ends up moving us up to the 3rd floor like my fiancé suggested earlier. We get to the top and it finally works we walk in and instead of the presidential suit we had booked and paid for we ended up in a 2 full bed regular room! We pointed the problem out right there and then but they had then told us non dog the rooms we had booked and paid for were available! They said we could stay in this room tonight for no charge and get removed to the right room the next day. At this point we’re annoyed and tired my baby had been screaming and crying because we were sitting h in the hall for 2 hours waiting to get into a room. So we just are like okay whatever you know. Well then the next day comes and we aren’t able to get into our room till 3 well we get in the key of course doesn’t i’ll so my fiancé had to get w new one made. We finally get in it’s the right room but what do you guess nothing freaking works. Not the bathroom light, not the microwave, not the tv, there was no hot water, there was a big chunk taken out of the bottom of the tub. Even the couch covers weren’t even on the couch cushions all the way!! We again address the issues and tell them the problem right there and then and of course there’s nothing g they can do and the manager won’t be back until monday. Well we couldn’t stay another night we both had work back at home which is almost 3 hours away. So we called instead i tried talking to the manager nicely and informed him of everything i told him i deserved a refund for both nights or atleast a refund for the first and big discount on the 2nd day the everything that happened he then proceeded to say he couldn’t do anything since we booked through the website but here’s my thing the website pays them the money we pay them for. So i was like uhm no actually this is what we’re going to do. You can either pay i’ll with me or i can take legal action because this is absolutely outrageous! He then tried to talk me into a 20% discount for both nights! after being told they weren’t going to charge for the first night. I then asked him if that’s how much he’d want with everything we had to go thru the with a 3 month baby? he said he understood and he’d have to talk to website people because for some reason he had to refund the first bite the money he got from them and which i don’t understand why they couldn’t just refund that money if they had it. Anyways i was like okay he called back in 15 mins said all i had to do was call the website answer their questions tell them my situation and they’re have to confirm it with him but here’s said he’d confirm it well i call the website they then proceed to tell me that i had to pay a $250 refund fee which was more than what i paid for both nights! i said absolutely not they then proceeded to tell me if i didn’t want to page fee the hotel can just refund me with no charge and also told me they never received a refund from the...
