Save yourself the time and visit a different target location. I had placed a pick up order and was quoted 2 hours for pick up, they were running behind and didn’t have my order ready after 5 hours. I normally go in to get the product myself but the item I purchased was discounted if purchased online so I used the pickup option. Since they were running behind I went into the store and grabbed the item off the shelf and went to guest services. They told me there was nothing they could do, I would have to wait for the fulfillment team to grab the order from the shelf. I explained I already have the product in my hand, but need it put in the system that I am taking the product with me. Guest services told me they couldn’t help me and that I needed to check out and pay for the item in store if I intended to leave with it. She kept telling me to just come back. I explained I live in Lawrence and had already driven up here as my store didn’t have the product- I could not justify driving 45 minutes both ways again when I was already at the store. Frustrating experience that no one seemed to be able to help with. Not to mention, I waited in line for 30 minutes at guest services prior to being helped. I didn’t have an issue waiting until I ended up wasting that 30 minutes of my time since they were of no help. There were quite a few others having issues with their pick up orders as well. Since orders weren’t being picked right away, other customers were having issues with products being in...
Read moreUpdate: I was looking for something else that was released today and now they won't even let you know if they're out of stock over the phone? I can understand if they had stock and were afraid someone would buy it before I got there so didnt want to give exact numbers, but refusing to tell me if it's out of stock??? Yikes. Bad policies all around for this store.
They also said they were supposed to start keeping the cards at the front desk, but then decided to pull only new releases, except that apparently didn't last very long either because everything is in the back again. Someone said it was because it was a lot/short staffing, but honestly why say you are imposing item limits if you aren't going to bother enforcing them???
(Original) This target NEVER has any pokemon cards in stock. I wish they would implement limits on the cards because it seems like 1 or 2 people are completely wiping out the stock they do get in as soon as it comes in (and probably reselling it).
The staff are always amazing and helpful, so they get 5 stars, but when I stop by for cards and there's nothing there, I tend to not buy anything else either. When there ARE cards I tend to then browse around the store and grab other things.
PLEASE implement limits...
Read morePoor customer service by Damia. She looks stupid and ignorant, anyway. What do I expect? I was there to pick up my order, she scanned my barcode and told her I'll be at Starbucks because they messed up my drink. I went back to the customer service area in 2 minutes but she didn't have my order ready. She was helping another customer so I waited. When she was done a lady appeared in front of me telling me she was ahead of me, but it was not her fault because she didn't know. I asked Damia why don't you have my item ready? She said she has to help a customer in front of her but when I came up to pick up my order there was nobody behind me. She should have gone to the get my order so it's ready when I get back. Poor customer service doesn't know any better. Target should not hire someone who is incompetent. I'm mad because she's making me feel stupid like she didn't recognize I was in front of her 4 niutes ago. I have no compassion for people who is in customer service industry and has no shame in making their customer feel stupid and doesn't even apologize. The best thing is I try to call the store and nobody answers the phone. Where is the LOD and store managers? Target is not like what it used to be....
