Panera Bread — Restaurant in Olathe

Stopped in for a late dinner, something to warm us up. I ordered French Onion Soup & 1/2 Turkey Avocado BLT. My husband's order was a bowl of Baked Potato Soup & 1/2 Tuna sandwich. By the time we'd gotten our water cups filled our plates were on the counter for pick up. My husband's was all the way ready, with steaming hot soup, but my soup was sitting there waiting for my cold sandwich. My husband was concerned that our soups would be cold by the time they finished making my cold sandwich. When we sat down his soup was still steaming hot whereas mine was barely tepid, not what I expected for French Onion soup! My husband took it back & asked for it to be heated up & they gave him a fresh bowl of soup which was the same temperature as the first one. I ate it because I was pretty hungry since we were eating after 8:30 pm. I talked to the manager before we left & she claimed that their soup well had been having issues & they were waiting for a part to fix it. I said I'd been looking forward to some hot French Onion soup & was pretty disappointed. She then said she'd make sure that they heated the soup before serving it in the future. She didn't offer me a refund or anything free in the future, nothing! I WON'T BE BACK THERE AGAIN! They charge way too much for what you get & aren't even friendly! They mostly avoid eye contact or even dealing with a customer other than taking their order! It's a pretty expensive, glorified fast food restaurant! For 2 people having the soup & 1/2 sandwich deal with only water to drink the total was over $22! What a super...

Bagel, once in a while a craving, close to work and keep making the same mistake over n over after promising myself will not do it again, but this morning instead of driving 30 minutes out of the way I went to Panera. Honestly their bagels 🥯 just well SUCK. They are too hard on the outside, have no flavor at all, not soft or chewy, good luck chewing them. Keep making the same mistake thinking maybe it was just ya know onetime thing but seriously last 6 times samething. After today will never buy another bagel from Panera again. Ya want a FANTASTIC AWESOME BAGEL DRIVE TO ENSTEIN BROS BAGELS TOALLY WORTH IT How can a company that owns Einstein Bros make there bagels worse..they do not boil the dough before cooking it and that makes them well ya know see above. Next time will drive 30 minutes to Enstein Bros and get it and will get a fricken dozen or 13 bagels for about the same price as 3 bagels n small cream cheese at Panera...TOTALLY WORTH IT..Cinnamon Sugar no raisins outstanding so soft and actually flavorful..even there plain bagels are fricken awesome. This is the worst Panera I have ever been to in my entire life. I use to order frequently because I work really close, They have messed up my order so many times but I always gave them a benefit of a doubt and another chance. After Yesterday and todays experience I’m done with this Panera forever. I went in yesterday and ordered a bagel and a drink for rapid pickup. Got back to work and my bagel was so burnt it was rock hard and crumbled burnt bread all in my mouth. I went back today and showed the lady the picture and asked if I could get it remade. She gave me so much attitude and made me feel like a burden. I work in customer service and I worked in the food industry for 4+ years. You don’t treat customers like that. I then proceeded to wait forever for my bagel to be remade which made me late to work, when I got my bagel it was completely burnt again. I’d rather have an untoasted bagel then a burnt one. Worst Panera...
