MOD hasn't disappointed me yet. My family and I highly recommend it! It's a simple menu, but has a rich variety of toppings. There's 2 sizes, a 6" Mini and an 11" MOD, which is the most popular. If you like a thicker pizza there is a Mega 11" pizza, it has twice the dough. All MODs are the same price, all Megas are the same prize and all minis are the same price. Pick from one of their Classic pizzas or create your own, choosing from 30 plus toppings to create your own. There is no limit or extra charge to truely create your own pizza with the toppings you want. So many possibilities! There are salads, cheesy garlic strips and garlic strips. If you want Dessert, there are cinnamon strips with a choice of chocolate, strawberry and cinnamon glaze; plus, their version of a "ding dong," called the No Name Cake. It's outstanding! They serve beer, fountain drinks and specially made lemonades and iced teas, like carmelized pear iced tea. My family and I love their pizza, cheesy garlic bread and srirancha sauce. It's soooooooo good!!! But, I love sriracha and ranch so the combination in my opinion is divine. There are a variety of sauces and glazes to choose from to dip the strips into and even your crust. MOD Pizza is community focused. They offer fundraiser opportunities and the one we go to has a wall along the order line that is covered with pictures of local residents and an image of all 5 Olathe High School's mascots. Best of all, the customer service is wonderful! Everyone is super friendly and polite. It has a comfortable atmosphere and is a pleasure to eat at. Of course, you can take it...
Read moreMe and my girlfriend came here to try this place out and it didn’t disappoint. It’s like a subway but for making your own pizza. Anybody can create a pizza they like here. They had a lot of toppings available so you can really get creative. Service was pretty good and the employees seemed kind and helpful enough, but nothing spectacular. Then again this is just a fast casual type of spot, so expectations can’t be too high. We both ordered a pizza with pesto sauce as the base and mozzarella cheese. On mine I got chicken, pepperoni, hot peppers, olives and onions. It was very very tasty. I love that they use a brick oven to cook the pizzas. It gives a unique crust and is just so much better than a traditional oven. It’s hard to describe, just give it a try and you’ll understand. They had numerous drink options including beers, but I settled for a glass bottle of Mexican coca-cola. So good! The regular size pizza is kinda small but it’s larger than a personal pizza at other places. I was able to eat half at the store and take half home for later. Good value in my opinion. Give this place a try if you’re...
Read morePretty much unlimited toppings. Similar to Pie 5, but with more options. It's a great place to get that pizza you always wanted but can't order in a group.
I do feel like some of the toppings were put on very sparsely. For instance, the onion on one half of my pie was sparse enough to miss a whole slice, and that's on an 11" pie with 6 slices They also sometimes miss the saucing and cheese and it can be inconsistent.
Overall a good experience. Service was the highlight. Very friendly and well-organized. The fact they had so many cheese options is also a plus. The 11" is by far the economic option. At $10.29 vs $8.49 on a 6", it's a no-brainer. More than double the food for less than $2.
Additionally, Cauliflower crust is only a couple dollars more for a maybe 15% markup. If you like cauliflower crust, you...
