Hobby Lobby — Local services in Olive Branch

Do NOT Come Here...unless you wanna go broke 😂 I could spend every dollar I have in here. My only reason for 4 stars was because the fall decor was so spread out all over the store it was hard to find and because not all Hobby Lobbys carry the same stuff. It wasn't that it was just out but my store didnt carry a particular floral I needed at all. I know I can order online but it wouldve been nice to see the floral in person before paying for it or having to go through the trouble of the returns online. Some of us still do prefer to shop in person. I love the framing department here though! Wish the fabric section was bigger but hey its a great store! My only true complaint was that the lady checking out my order kept putting in the wrong amounts, making my quantities more than what I had multiples for. I had so much to purchase already it was hard to catch, but I did. She did fix it without a problem but I found it odd for her to be doing that because it wasn't just once or twice it was almost every one I had. Will be back soon though...

On November 8, 2015, my husband's watch and clock club will meet for their annual luncheon. It is my job to make centerpieces for each table, seating 4, generally 7-10 tables. My first stop was Hobby Lobby, the new store on the block. After entering the store, I was directed to the floral department and was told that Norma could help me. However, Norma was at lunch so Amanda said she would help me until Norma returned. My theme for the centerpieces was cotton bowls. Amanda went right to work with her ideas, gathering items to show me what I could use, ribbon, pumpkins, lights, etc. Then Norma returned and added more helpful ideas to the project, and in no time my project had been designed. They really knew how to be creative immediately, and they acted like it was not a job, but a fun challenge.

Thank you Hobby Lobby for having employees like Amanda and Norma that can take an idea and be their own...

I must admit, I love this place anyway, but the manager there has my beyond respect for her and her staff there. My crazy self left my phone in the ladies room on the tissue stall! Usually I have it in my wallet, but leaving the store thinking I'm cute when my hubby tells me that the manager calls mama and told her I left my phone at the store. Thank God I haven't left the store yet, I guess we both were looking for each other until she ask me Did I leave my phone? I told her I did, and thank her a million times, she gave me a warm smile and she said told me you're welcome. I would go there again due to a simple act of honesty. Someone else could have grabbed it. I'm highly thankful it was her or her staff. Honesty goes a long way, and my loyalty to this place will never be forgotten. Thank you to the lady manager who return my phone to me! It means the world to me and so do your kindness...
