Miss Barbara and her team are the absolute best, what more could some one possibly ask for! My family has been shopping there for years and years to come! They treat you like family. Miss Barbara is like my adopted grandma. Showing me the ropes of the business. From the furniture to the home decor and other amazing pieces that I could find. That all these years from experience I’ve never met someone more genuine and hospital of royalty. Say what you will but I know that when you come to Old Towne Antiques and Upholstery, you won’t forget your experience, I have to say when I met Miss Barbara I was 7 years and years counting later, still going back to visit her and the shop. I messaged this business on Facebook with pictures of my couch and chair that I needed upholstered. I received no response. I then called and a lady gave me a number and asked that I text Barbara. So I texted her with pictures and a message, still no response and my phone tells me that the messages were viewed. All I can say is unprofessional and disrespectful with disregard for potential customers. I’m not sure why I was treated so poorly and disregarded. My furniture job may not have been worth it to you but you could have at least responded. You never know when or where the next big expensive job is gonna come from. I had 2 chairs i found at an antique store in the same area as the upholstery store. I picked my fabric and also bought some with me. The original fabric was 1970 green with huge daisies. I described how I wanted my chairs to look and the piping. This was in 2001, when I had this done. To this day my 2 chairs still get an abundant amount of compliments.
