Seems like the employees prepare the food the way that THEY want it as opposed to how I, the customer, asks for the food to be prepared and I don’t like that and I don’t feel valued as a customer because of that.
I know fresh, hot bacon and tots when I feel and taste them and the bacon and tots were NOT fresh and hot. The bacon tasted like it might have been leftover from the day before and it was dry and crunchy like potato chips and fell apart when I bit into it 😡.
I requested to have the bacon sandwich remade and it was around that time when I realized that the tots were nowhere to be found. The employees were either incompetent and failed to listen and follow directions as I specifically asked for my order to be processed or they just decided to cut corners and disregard my request and prepared the order as they wanted to make it.
The bacon was satisfactory the second time around, but I was told that my tots had not been processed with the bacon sandwich order and I would need to pay for the tots separately. I was pissed, but I ordered the tots (again) and I asked to speak to a manager.
The employee took my order BACK INSIDE with her and placed it on the counter while I waited for the manager to come out to my car to talk with me - which meant that my order of tots (and ice cream) would likely be cold (and melted) whenever I eventually got them.
The manager talked to me in a “brash” manner, like I was a child, and didn’t seem to appreciate me speaking up for myself and complaining about my food not being prepared like I’d asked. For whatever reasons, the manager took my receipts and went back into the store.
A different employee brought my order of tots and ice cream to me moments later and I asked for salt for the tots and the employee seemed to have a somewhat nasty attitude about that and told me that she would have to go back in the store to get the salt.
The tots were NOT fresh and hot and I waited for the salt longer than I feel that I should have and just decided to leave without the salt because I was feeling so disrespected and insulted.
These nasty attitudes and lazy dispositions do not go together with customer service and being people persons 😡! They are the ones who voluntarily signed up for this job and they should get a job cleaning toilets or mopping floors or whatever other job that accommodates them exercising that nasty energy instead of working in fast food and with customers if they know that this is not what they...
Read moreI’ve lived in Olive Branch for over 15 years and have seen the city grow so much. When sonic got the renovation they’d been needing for such a long time I was so excited. But unfortunately I never want to come here anymore because the wait time is HORRIBLE. I’m Sitting here watching all of these young people just standing around and laughing etc. when I ordered one combo and have been sitting here for 15 minutes. There’s maybe 6 cars in the parking lot. And God forbid I come midday. I’ll be waiting a minimum of 30 minutes. Service is not what it used to be at all. And my strawberry limade has never been made wrong and there’s so much lemon, or whatever they use, in it that I can hardly drink it.
Edit : here I am once again leaving a bad review. My child was given a paper coupon in school a few months ago for a free ice cream cone so I came today to use it and was told they no longer have ice cream cones (what?!?!) so I asked them if they could just put the ice cream in a cup and comp it. they wasted five minutes of my time coming to get the coupon going back inside coming back out to inform me that the coupon was out of date, which I knew it was because the school had scratched it out when it was given to my child and was told that the date did not matter that they will honor the paper coupon. And was then told that the manager said they would not honor it. I mean, what are we talking about here? the ice cream cones were like what $.99 put $.99 worth of ice cream in a cup and not charge a customer that’s also buying other stuff it’s called customer service....
Read moreI've visit 2 different Sonic locations this week. Each time my burger was wrong and not the Sonic way. Today I can finally say Oh My!!! Although the mayo was left off. I had a mayo packet from the other day. This was the Sonic cheeseburger that should always be served. Fresh and hot. My lemonade w/extra peach was also made right this time. Great Job. She said she was the manager. Sonic I know good and well. You all didn't hire someone this rudely. She definitely don't need to interact with customers. She need to talk behind a cage because we're not animals. The car hopper was so nice. She apologized for this. This isn't her problem. I appreciate her attitude and concerns. Got my order.
