My mom and I have visited this restaurant several times. This is not the 1st negative experience but this experience was the worst and worth sharing. We went on Saturday and I tired there new Barria Tacos, I thought they were good and went back today to order again plus two orders of kids quesadillas for my daughters. Once I got my ticket the bill was higher than expected. I realized they charged me for 2 regular portions of quesadillas and not the kids portion. I let the server know and he tried to fix it himself but realized he couldn’t so he then glossed over it but I wasn’t letting it go so he reluctantly got the manager. I didn’t understand his reluctancy at first but when the manager came out the way he did I understood it. He was extremely rude, accusatory, and unaccommodating. He rudely told me this is what you ordered and went back a forward with me about it. Based on his interaction with me I was completely turned off and wanted to pay for my drink and leave the togo order there. He told me I was going to pay and then rushed to the front door as if he was going to lock it. Long story short the situation got handled bc I eloquently explained myself and he finally did what he should have did from the beginning. I’m sharing this bc I really feel like this establishment wants “our” dollars but they want to put us all in a category and not accommodate us. I truly did not feel good at all about how he treated me and I don’t want to support a business that is where it is because of us, but does not want to properly accommodate and ensure proper service...
Read moreIt was my first time here, and everything seemed okay at first. The place was nice, quiet, and empty. I told my server that I wanted a non-alcoholic piña colada and asked if they had it. He said yes, and when I asked again to confirm, he reassured me they did. Then, he asked to see my ID, which confused me since I was ordering a non-alcoholic drink. Still, I showed him my ID, but when he brought my drink, it had alcohol in it. I told him this wasn’t what I ordered and that I didn’t want to be charged for it. The owner/manager/ bartender, came over and explained that the drink automatically comes with alcohol and that they couldn’t take it back because it would be a waste of money. I told him that the first thing I asked was whether the drink had alcohol because I cannot have alcohol. After that, the manager/owner/ bartender, took the drink back and didn’t charge me for it. Toward the end, when I received my check, I noticed a hidden fee—a $2 tip that was automatically added. Then, after paying, when signing the receipt, they asked if I wanted to tip again. I don’t see the point of double tipping when they had already taken a tip...
Read morePlease people do not go there the place is going to make you so poor. While you are sitting there waiting for your food you are almost frozen it's so cold there. Then when I asked for my bill to see how much I owed them. Well let me tell you they was charging me for other stuff. About $2.00 for a cash discount when I used cash not card and 15% tips right off the back without even asking. I asked for a manager and I told her that I was not going to pay the extra cash discount and I am not going to pay the tip fee. She said that it's on their menu about the tips. I don't care where it is it's my money and if I say I am not going to pay it I am not paying it. So I will not be back at all people just please watch out this place it's a total rip off sorry no good place. Their food is hard and was like burnt so the food was not worth it. They just lost my business and I will spread the word to...
