For a year I regularly purchased from this company with a generally favorable experience. I mostly shopped among final sale items knowing that whatever I got, I was stuck with it no matter what. Honestly probably 40% of the items were not good because they didn't fit, but I would just deal with it and give those items away. Recently I ordered an expensive pair of jeans that did not fit and were poorly designed. I mailed them back to the company among 7 other xmas packages that day, not really paying attention. After mailing the item, it came to light that the jeans were final sale and it was my mistake for trying to return them. Before I could blink, the company immediately returned the unwearable jeans back to me using my own store credit without asking me. This infuriated me because the store credit is my personal money, not their play money. And it specifies no where on their website (as of this entry) that items will be immediately returned back without authorization and they would to use my store credit with no authorization. Had the company worked with me, I would have forfeited the jeans and taken a loss of the original cost, plus the shipping to them. Now I also have a loss of them shipping back to me, an overall loss of $60. They were completely unwilling to admit they should not touch my personal store credit and they were not flexible in any way. They said I could reject the package they sent on round 2, and give me my store credit back, but my time is valuable and I was planning on donating these jeans no matter what, so why do I need to drive all the way to the post office to return this package AGAIN when they shouldn't have even touched my store credit. I was a longtime customer who dropped over $600 in less than a year and they did not offer to give me ONE break. I will no longer be...
Read morePink Coconut has completely disappointed me! I bought a cute shirt in April that didn't fit properly. It was no big deal because I returned it for store credit. Then, using store credit and some extra money, I ordered shoes to replace the shirt. When I received the shoes, they were damaged. Retuned, and they gave me store credit for that. Okay, I understand. So I make a third purchase to replace it, spending an additional $55. My shipment showed that it had not yet shipped, so I asked if I could pick it up since I will be out of town, but they said it had already shipped. Excellent! But it ended up in Texas. Yes, I understand that this is not their fault. But I’m about to leave out of town and have no way of getting my items. I try to resolve it, and they said I could pick up the same items at the store but I have to make an additional purchase and I can return my other items when I get back and have it refunded to my credit card. So I have to be out double the amount before hand and risk the items being either delivered to me and it sit outside for a week, or hopefully the post office can intercept and return the items back to Pink Coconut. But either way, I only get store credit instead of them just crediting my credit card back. This wouldn’t be a big deal if it was the first time, but this is the third time I have tried to give Pink Coconut a shot. I have been on the phone with the warehouse manager and end up getting hung up on and I also requested to talk to the owner, but apparently I cannot talk to her. So now I am out $155 for nothing. Before the pandemic Pink Coconut was my absolute favorite store and it has COMPLETELY changed. I will never shop here again! And on top of that, they insured my package for $100 instead of the full amount. So that is all I can recover from the post office if...
Read moreVery Dissatisfied with their service. I ordered my daughter a pair of Boots that she picked out for Christmas. We ordered a half size larger then she wears. When she tried them on Christmas morning they were too small. (cut very small for the size). I had no problem sending them back for a larger size but they were out of them. My daughter found them elsewhere because they were the only ones she liked from Pink Coconut. I sent the others back and they will not refund my money even though they did not have her size. I understand an even exchange but if you don't have what we want you need to refund. Instead I got a store credit. I am a 60 year old woman that does not shop at Pink Coconut only when buying my daughters gift! Now I am stuck with a credit for a place I...
