Funtastic - Indoor Family Play Center — Local services in Opelika

Such a good experience for us that I have to post a review because I want to see this business thrive. I believe this location is new; it was certainly new to us and I’m so glad they are here because we need more indoor play places near Columbus. Funtastic is an indoor play place good for ages 1 (infant crawlers and even new walkers) through 12 and has areas sectioned off according to age. One of the selling points for us is how open the play area is so you can almost easily spot out your kids no matter where you were seated (another win, some places we have been to don’t have the kind of set up to easily supervise your kids). We just happened to not only be there at opening time but at a good time where there wasn’t too many kids there to play so space to play/run around was good. The facility was clean (this includes even the restroom) AND well lit so another win. Again we were there shortly after the play area was open for the day but we saw staff actively clean/sanitize when they could. Towards the end of the time (90 minute play time per play pass) we were reminded we could also extend our time if need be which is enforced based on the color wristband we were given at the beginning. Me and my family went to the opelika place with our kids and we were all having fun playing along with our kids and the staff told us we have to leave because we couldn’t have fun playing with our kids we had to sit and watch our kids play and I asked the staff if they could find this in their policy so they left and brought to me their web site where it says kids age group play areas like we already wasn’t aware so I said to the staff so parents can’t play with their kids here and the staff was rude and said that’s weird I said what are you implying and then he walked away I’m not sorry for how I acted they kicked us out for enjoying time with our kids we asked for a refund they said they refunded it back to the card yet we haven’t received anything yet but they site says fun for the whole family yet...

Wonderful experience for my boys who are 4 and 5. Very affordable! 90 minutes was plenty of time for the session. My children were able to play the arcade games, play on the indoor structures and play on the rock climbing wall which they really liked! We did not purchase any food or drinks however they did have a variety of snacks for purchase and Pizza if you wanted something hot. The facility was clean and cool, with seats for parents located in the middle of the structures so that you can easily see your child. Great place for getting all of the wiggles out of energetic littles! Reminds me of a place that was around when I was a child in the 90's called...
