Went there tonight through the drive thru, ordering at the speaker was horrible. Before I could get the item out my mouth she was already asking ANYTHING ELSE, every single time. I get to the window and was handed my items, I ask for mild sauce and I get 4 packets. 4 packets of mild sauce for a taco salad & 3 5 layer beef & bean burritos. All but my strawberry starburst. She comes back to window I ask for my starburst she says I didn't order one, I stated I did and if I could have a reciept I could show u. She then tells me I need to pull back to the end of the line cause there is a car behind me. I said well I was here 1st placed a order before them I need my order. She stands there lookin at me like I'm crazy. So I pull around & park & go inside. I ask lady at counter how much is 5 layer burritos? She said I dnt no what ever it says up there (pointing to menu) Like maybe I'm illiterate?? I order another starburst & decide then get 2. So the girl at counter fixes them then goes to the register and can't figure out how to ring me up & calls for sumone in back. They come up to ring me up and I ask what the girls name is at drive thru, it's Marcella. I had $25 goin there, ordered a taco salad (which inside the little black container they put bout a spoon of salsa), 2 starbursts & 3 5 layer beef & bean burritos I had $2 and some change left. Is that correct? Was I over charged? I don't no I was...
Read moreTo the owners, give Halley and whoever was working in the kitchen on March 2nd around 9 pm a raise, a big one. Nor some measly $15 an hour but the best livable wage possible because you probably have your most competent, professional, and most welcoming staff this location has had in the past 20 years. I saw Del Taco open but really just wanted a Baja blast and already had food at home so I decided to drop by what is known as the worst taco bell and fast food spots in Lee County. I half expected the employees just to be chilling on their phones with the lights off and the store not operating during hours. If operating I then expected that they would just say they are out of everything like they always do. Instead I got a very warming voice and experience from the drive through employee, Hayley (Idk how she spells it) that I probably freaked her out by asking her if she was okay and realized where she was. We both looked at each other like we were crazy and said fair well. I'd like to note she talked me into rounding up to donate for some education fund and probably could have talked me into actually ordering food. As I drove off I looked in and saw people actually working... And the Baja blast I had was one of the best I've ever had. I'm not use to this. So to the owners you better pay up to keep this staff that worked on March 2, 2024. Trust me on this they'll easily be worth $18...

They acted like I was invisible. A simple "Be with you in a moment" would have been nice. This store is TERRIBLE!!! Where's the management??? Doesn't the company care???
Visited this store on Thursday, 7-1-21 at 11:15 a.m. When I walked in the young man at the register asked me to use the kiosk to order. I told him I had never used it before and he replied, "Ok, we will take your order here (meaning counter)." I received my food and sat down at a table. Moments later a gentleman entered the store and was likewise told to use the kiosk to order. He said he did not know how to use it. They refused to take his order at the register and he left appearing very confused and dumbfounded. Then moments after that a woman came in and they took her order at the register without ever asking her to use the kiosk. What the hell is up with all that? If I was the man who left without food simply because he didn't know how to use the kiosk, I would have pitched a fit. Get your act together Opelika Taco Bell. Furthermore, where's the manager? Is he or she not paying attention to what is going on in the store?...
