
My son's music concert was held here and while the facility was large enough I could not help but see how in-house technical support was needed with dimming lights, announcements etc. More importantly regarding seating, and this is Important and I take seriously because after covid, people are starting to feel entitled to their 6 feet, but USHERS were the only solution to making sure all parents and guests could find a place to sit at all. We were leaving gaps in the rows between family members for whatever reason but when I heard the parents complaining there were no more seats, we were able to accommodate the parents just arriving before showtime!
The OBEC is a great facility and I know OB entertainment district and the school districts can create more artistic and complex performances, knowing that they have a great auditorium in which to perform. I also enjoyed the OB christmas tree ornaments that were offered....
Read moreThe venue is probably fine for many events, but it was terrible for a cheerleading competition. There wasn't nearly enough room and there were not any concessions without leaving the building (You can walk next door to the farmer's market). On this particular weekend it happened to be raining so walking out of the building for concessions was a big inconvenience. The lobby is also too small for a cheer competition. The venue itself is nice and the bathrooms are clean. It just wasn't conducive to a cheer...
