Last week my daughter and I went to purchase trash bags. I did not get a cart since I was only buying one thing. My daughter saw a few shirts that she liked, so we grabbed them. I had the trash bags under my arm, and forgot about them at self checkout. I walked two steps away from the self check out and realized the trash bags were under my arm. I took two steps back to scan them and pay for them, and suddenly I hear a woman screaming. I looked around to see if someone was hurt or something, but she was screaming at me. She kept repeating (screaming)that there were other guests in line and continued yelling at me. I explained that I only took 2 steps, but wanted to make sure I paid for my trash bags. She yelled and said I needed to stand back in line. There were literally 3 people in line for 4-6 self check out spots. The woman behind me was just as embarrassed as I was, and she told me to go ahead. I felt like everyone at the front of the store was looking at me. Trying not to be a "Karen" in front of my child, I went to the end of the line. I decided to just go elsewhere for my purchase and left. We were also going to go to Starbucks there for breakfast, I ended up going to the one down the road instead. I was super embarrassed, and I could NOT believe that a store employee would ever speak to a customer in that tone, level or in such a humiliating way. You would have thought she caught me trying to take the trash bags out, and was trying to stop me. I won't go back to this...
Read moreTypically I am not someone who reviews stores or items. Tonight I am making a point to, hoping someone will get some recognition for going above and beyond. I have been eyeing this table decor for about 2 weeks now online through my target app at my local Orange City Target. Since the item is a clearance item it is not available to ship. Luckily, my local Target had it available it said. With normal clearance items it’s a hit or miss. So tonight I went into the store with fingers crossed I’d find it. After searching around with no luck, I ran across an associate Jim, who is normally in electronics was near by and willing to help. After he had searched in the item code, we couldn’t find exactly where the item would be. Then he checked on the computers and storage in the back. Came back again and still nothing. I figured no big deal, I was hopeful I’d find it but wasn’t counting on it just incase. So I thanked him for taking the time and truly looking for the item. Then as we parted we both were still looking for the item. Just because wouldn’t hurt to keep trying. We laughed and stated “we’d walk away and then it’d show up!” Ha. Well it did! I was already in line checking out and Jim came walking up with the decor! It was very funny exactly as we stated but also awesome he continued to care and keep looking then found it! Thank you for caring and for helping someone out no matter how small of a gesture! Appreciate it! Now adding customer service to another reason why I...
Read moreAttention Target management: It is unacceptable to have ZERO cashiers and only self service registers open at 7:30pm on a busy weeknight. I spend almost 1500 per month on food and other shopping and I am shifting my shopping to the new walmart on 17/92 and to Publix. Both offer enough cashiers to allow you to check out. When I went to check out on 4/18 at 7:30pm, there were no regular registers open and a line of 4 customers just to find an open self service register. I asked an employee if they were going to open another one and they said to just go to customer service to check out. I walked up there and there was no one there. Your service used to be superior to the Walmart Super Center, but no longer. Walmart is putting more cashiers in place at the super center and there are always two cashiers open along with self service at the 17/92 Walmart Market. I am sure that I won't be the only one shifting...
