Dollar General — Local services in Orange Park

8/5/23 Wish there was zero stars. This store should just close for good. They have been closing for weeks at 130 due to heat advisories. Wow can't get AC fixed in over a month. Today takes the cake THERE IS NO HEAT ADVISORY!!!! It's 89 and ur location still closes. What a joke

Dollar General disappoints again.

This is the WORST Dollar General I've been to. This location for years was top notch and then the past 6 months it went down the tube. I look at comments and I see I'm not alone. I've never seen a store with more empty shelves than this location. The pics I posted show what I m speaking about. This shelves have looked like this for months. The empty drink mixes are the worst because 90% of the space is empty but they are sealed boxes on the top shelf. Those boxes have been sitting their at least a month. No one in the store have bothered to open boxes and fill in empty spots. This shows that the Store Manager, District Manager and Regional Manager could care less about the location or upper management have not stepped in the store the past 3 plus months

Went again on 9/10 it got even worse. Amazingly they have even less product. First time I ever went to any kind of store and they had No 20 Oz Coke anywhere. Does corporate even care how bad this store has gotten. They should be embarrassed on the condition of this store it use to get a great location not any more

What happened to this store. The store is nearly empty. I've never seen so many out or stocks. There are numerous aisles were shelves are bear barren. This was never the case in the past. I'm going to have to stop coming here because they don't have anything. This has been an issue...

I see why they have 4.1 Stars bc I stopped in after leaving the Vet (Kingsley Animal Hospital) w/ Haas the Service Dog American Bulldog. Don't get me wrong bc, Shae (I think was her name) cashier made us feel warm, welcome without any problems. She was the best Cashier, very patient, professional, & helpful recognizing myself and Haas. However; This is why I'm giving 4 stars & it could have been a 5, but another cashier had to open her register off the floor putting product away I'm guessing. She was not Happy nor Pleased. The reason was the basket of discounts had flip flops on sale with a min of 5 purchase at a time. I did NOT have a problem with that at all & ask do I need to go back in line for every 5, pay, 5 pay ect. Shae explained yes it was the store rules & corporate. I totally understand that & was willing to do that, but the problem was no one was behind me, no line nothing. I even let the lady behind me go first after hearing the rules. The reason the other cashier was not Happy to open bc Shae noticed right away Service Dog, Me & my disability of panic/Anxiety she choose to continue with my order. The other cashier walks by Shae to open her register & pops off her mouth "That's why you only do 5 at a time". What makes this wrong is I purchase flip flops to send to South Florida to a friend sending them to the Bahamas. It's fine I got them and there on the way to Homestead Florida. This has to be the worst Dollar General store. They seem to have gone though a complete staff change in the last few months. Now when I go in nothing is stocked, the stuff that is stocked displays one price but rings up completely different when you go to check out. At first clerk says you must of got it from the wrong spot, I go and show them and then they change to well we haven't gotten to update our signs yet. I would have let that go but then a month later the same thing happens with the exact same item (go to get $5 TP and it rings up as $7.35 when the display sign still says $5). Same goes for the coffee, peanuts, beef jerky (when its in stock). When you have an advertised price you HAVE to sell the item for the posted price you cant post a price then jack it up at check out - there are Truth in Advertising laws for a reason. Then when I ask for the GM or Main office phone number they say they dont have that info. My next step is to report this to the State Attorney General and let them and the department of...
