Red's Discount Liquor — Local services in Orange

I started shopping here because I work locally and they seem to have a good selection of bourbons and scotches. However, it is very disappointing to see that they still hold the good stuff behind the counter at extremely extremely inflated prices. For instance, Heaven Hill came out with a 7-year bottled in bond old Fitzgerald which they stated would be a good shelf bottle and do not intend it to be allocated so that everyone can enjoy it. Well guess what, sitting behind the counter at $199.00 is that bottle. It is so frustrating that liquor stores like this one try to rip people off. As I was driving away, I called longhorn liquor in Lumberton. They said they had several bottles on the shelf at $60. I think that was my last trip to red's liquor! Do the owner. You would get much more business from locals and people who work here if you didn't price gouge the good stuff at extremely...

Date of issue Aug,30,2024 Time 5-630pm I will never come back to this location as long as I live. They lady that I spoke with was very rude and made me feel like I was beneath her. I had a simple question and she was to busy to take time to answer. I tried to explain what I was talking about and the whole time im trying talk she was interupting me, and looking at me like i was stupid l. After about the third try of me trying to explain what i was talking about she pasted me off to her co worker, her co worker was very patient with me and actually knew what i was talking about. When I was done with my purchase she ran off to the back of the store. This surprise me because I've always had a good experience at the 1442 location. I'd like to think the owner does not know this...

I wish I can give this place zero Stars I only came here to write a review about my experience not sure why the owner can't count money went in to purchase something and he didn't even give me my two cents back 😂not sure if he can count or was just trying to get over or in need for money stop ripping people off and scamming sick of these people from foreign countries coming over here to the United States an ripping people off and the lady charged me for a cup of ice that should have been free when purchasing a drink just pathetic and sad I will not be going to them anymore I will be spending my money where it is...
