The worst customer service I have encountered here. The sale associate by the name of Laura rolled her eyes at my husband and I while we were trying to dispute a return. The first time I came to return something, she automatically told me I needed a receipt when I purchased it on my target card. I know she could have looked up the item on my target credit card but refused to. I have returned a lot of items at a different target and never had an issue not having a receipt because they have always looked it up on my target card. The manager on duty by the name of Fernando wasn't any better. My husband called in to make sure if this is an issue and over the phone he said that yes the associate could have looked up the item with our target card. He even asked my husband what was the name of the person who I spoke to so that he can talk to her and retrain her. He then said that without a receipt maybe it's better if we go to the target we purchased at instead because we might not carry the item. My husband told him if we can find the receipt we will come back so that we can point her out. At that point if the policy is that if they don't carry it they can't do a return, he should have mentioned that to my husband but he didn't even say anything. We came back to this target thinking that we can probably return it since we now coming back with a receipt even if they don't have the product, but were we so wrong. Needless to say, the manager was as rude and unprofessional as Laura ( the sales associate that helped me). He was using the word Bro, dude, uncool, etc. he said it was on you "bro" for coming back here instead. At that point there was no point at talking to him. We asked for the store manager's name and left.
We then called corporate and the person my husband spoke to said there is no policy for if the store does not carry it that they cannot do a return. We should be able to return at any target if it was purchased there.
I'm hoping that corporate will have some disciplinary action taken to this target. They need to all be retrained!
Even thought this target is down the street from us, we will never go to this...
Read moreI went to mini Target for picking up my online order around 2pm. It seemed it wasn’t busy, only 1 person to wait for purchasing line #1( line #1 is returning service and helping for purchase also ) that person is employee working at Target. I know it because my work place is next to Target and I’m working at my workplace for a years. I know every employees at this Target. While I just picked up and I walked to the booth online pick up to wait the lady working at online pick up and drive up. But the employee line#1 wanted to help me and told me to come over her booth, if she just helped and done that would be nice. But she talked with unhappy face that next time I should stand in the line ( and she pointed her finger the area next to her ) But I told her that I have online pick up , not returning. And she said I still have to ( I don’t see any sign indicates “ line for returning and online picking up “ ) I said sorry to her . But her face was still dislike and she didn’t say anything and walked way to take my 3 packs of soda . I realized she didn’t take a cart for putting the items, and I realized I didn’t take a cart either while I’m pregnant and I can’t carry by my hands . So I grabbed a cart , and came back to her. She pointed my items and said “ Here , yours “ I was so upset and didn’t want to say Thank you . And it made me think “ why she treat me like that even I didn’t ask her to help me . She called me over her booth . I was happy to wait a person doing online pick up booth. If she wasn’t happy when I walked pass to her to booth online pick up, so she just needs leave me alone or told me someone else will help, that’s it “ I left the store with the feeling so upset. Never happened to me since I have worked at my work place next to Target in 5 years...
Read moreThe store is well cleaned, staffed, and the employees are fair. Unfortunately, I had an incident with the store manager & his impoliteness while shopping for some typical house goods. I was unable to find the brand of laxatives I was searching for, so I decided to ask an employee for help as I saw the item was listed in stock on the website. I approached Gabe as he was the closest employee in sight. Seeming rather irritable, I ask him politely if he could help me find this item & brand. He tells me if it’s not in the laxative area, they don’t have it in stock and the website is wrong. Fair enough, but I asked if he could check in the back real fast, possibly it’s a new shipment that just arrived! and he tells me no. I was caught a little off guard, so I ask to speak to a manager or someone higher than him. Gabe proceeds to tell me he is the store director and knows whether an item is in stock or not. Despite his condescending attitude, I was still trying to be polite towards him and ask once more. Gabe then requested an employee come take over him as he had better things to do! What an unfit store manager, he demonstrated a lack of customer care & a rude attitude. However, an associate shortly came and Gabe immediately left before I could ask anything further. I explain the situation to the associate and he politely went to the back to look. A few minutes later he came out with the brand I wanted and apologized for his store manager’s actions. What a courteous employee, but shame on the store manager. I will come back, but I recommend staying away from Gabe! He will make you feel undervalued and uncomfortable. Great...
