Stater Bros. Markets — Local services in Orange

They have most of what I need, at a price I am willing to pay under the current economy's rampant Bidenflation.

TWO stars were deducted as as a result of recurring unprofessional treatment recieved by the Store Manager. This young man needs further training in proper Customer Service. On two separate occasions, he treated me with a lack of desire to please the customer, and a lack of trust.

On the first such occurence, he refused to give me a discounted price at the cash register on an item from the discount rack with a stained and torn box, (that was without a discount price sticker). The manager looked at me suspiciously as if questioning whether I caused the damage. (Idid not, nor would not) Since I needed to leave to travel to work, I chose not to wait for him to walk back to the isle and do a price check.

On the second occurence, he repeatedly questioned my explaination about why I was requesting a refund, after having already explained my very long standing customer status and very seldom (if ever) return of products. The Store Manager questioned my explaination twice. This left me upset, as this was the second such occurence of his mistrust.

Although, (like everyone else) I am far from perfect, one thing I AM, is trustworthy.

PLEASE give this man additional Customer Service Training or risk loosing a longstanding customer, who would reluctantly shop elsewhere.

This Place and ALOT of the employee in here are a JOKE!!!

Me and my Husband come here multiple times a day and spend Thousands of Dollars in here a MONTH. And Turn around and get DISRESPECT by Jared in the produce department.

I was leaving the store when one of the girls who works at the fruit department stopped me and said Jared called me Stupid and Toxic.

I was shocked and asked her why would he say that when he doesn't know me. When i confronted him, The wannabe Manager...(Anthony)...Comes back and tell me he doesn't need me saying anything to Jared.

I don't need your employee's talking about me and Anthony doesn't get to tell me how to react to being called name's!!

As a BLACK Woman calling me Toxic and Stupid is something to NOT to be overlooked or taken lightly!!

Personally I am sick of being harassed by a few of these employee's for sitting in the parking lot minding my business!!

2 of them have harassed me in the parking lot and when confronted they sit and LIE.

I feel they are spreading rumors and talking about me to the other employee's and now I am being talked about and harassed by OTHER employees!!

I have a right to shop i PEACE and I also have the RIGHT to sit in the parking lot without being harassed by YOUR employee's!!

Anthony should NEVER become a manager if that's how you handle customer's being harassed!! Jared should be fired for those disgusting words...

I go in just to browse and to kill time. Today I was looking at their display of seafood (salmon, fillets, shrimp, etc) and raw meat at the meat section. While more limited of different kinds of seafood, I was mildly impressed with the selection and display of the meat section and the seafood.. and the prices seemed fair to me to the quality and quality of the item(s).

I did not buy anything this time but I like what I saw. Also, what nailed a positive experience for me is when I was just browsing the raw meat (steaks, t-bones, pork, bellies, etc, etc) and raw seafood, I was asked three times by three different employees behind the counters if I needed any help with anything, when I was just browsing.

So I think it's cool that the employees working to meet and seafood section between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. on July 30th, 2023 were attentive even though I was not looking to buy.

So I think that deserves praise.

I also love how their sushi section looks. The sushi looked pretty damn great. It looked very fresh and presented in an eye catching way. It had a bit of variety. Not as much as a restaurant menu. But they had perhaps a few different...
