Revisited again today 8/22/2024 Walk-in customer greeted by friendly service staff. Again ordered a double cheeseburger with grilled onions, sweet potato fries, and a lemonade...ate indoors this time. As delicious as the previous two visits. Three visits, three outstanding experiences!!! Added additional photos
Revisited, today 7/27/2024 I was a walk-in customer with my dog, this visit. We were pleasantly greeted by a young lady who was helpful and friendly. I ordered the exact same thing as the last time and enjoyed it on their patio. While I thought the food was very good the first time, I thought it was even better this time!! I added two pictures of the patio... Next visit, I'll eat inside and take pictures of the interior and counter area. As we were leaving, I encountered Jonathan from my first visit. While it was about three weeks earlier, he still remembered my dog and me!!! (Likely more my dog than me, but I'm okay with that!) đ
First time visit 7/03/24 (utilized the drive thru). Wanted to see if the comparison to the Baldwin Park based burger place would hold up. This is the second of now two locations started about nine years ago in, I believe, Downey. They advertise a double cheeseburger for $3.75 today and every day!!! There it was! Right on the menu board. Much shorter drive thru order line than usually encountered at the other aforementioned place, manned outside by a very efficient and personable "Johnathan". Ordering was quick, accurate, and friendly. Double cheeseburger with grilled onions, sweet potato fries, and a lemonade. ($11.26 including tax) It was cheaper than the other place, but to be fair, I usually order my fries "animal style". The burger was definitely comparable in size, quality, and taste. I love sweet potato fries!! These were very good as well. Suggestion; garnish and present the sweet potato fries with a generous sprinkling of powdered sugar...awesome...believe me! I wanted an Arnold Palmer, but they only had raspberry iced tea, a bit of a conflict in taste, to me anyway. Settled for a flavorful lemonade, instead. Overall, it was a very good experience, and the food was full of flavor. If you are near this spot in Orange or the original one in Downey, stop in. You won't be...

We ordered through the website so we could get the full menu, and the "make it a combo" options!
It was very busy, but the staff did a fantastic job with order taking, and even making sure that the person picking up the order is the one picking it up! They made sure that everything was great!
The restaurant itself was clean when we walked in! Even with how busy it was! It has the pop of red in the grey and white interior, which colors are always welcomed in my book!
Here's what we ordered:
4 Chicken Strips combo with 2 extra strips added - the strips are crispy and juicy! The seasoning was perfect on it! They were great!
X Burger - This smash burger was amazing! You can definitely taste the seasoning on the burger, and I added the chicken sauce which was a great compliment to it!
1/3 Lb X Burger - Same as the X-Burger, but bigger! And a scoup of chili was added, which made this to a messy delicious burger! Also made into a combo with 2 chicken strips added!
Double Cheeseburger - A very solid burger! If you're looking for that classic, this is the way to go!
Chili Cheese Fries - these are a solid, chili is perfectly seasoned, and of course you can't go wrong with the cheese. (I mean, you could, but it wasn't a problem for us!)
X Fries - Another Solid Chili Cheese Fries, but add a grilled chicken. Now I would probably get the chicken cut smaller, but that's just a preference for me. Nothing worth notching a star down for. It's still a very good side, or if you want it by itself!
If you want a great burger joint that's reasonably priced, you've found the...
Read moreUpdate: This was my second time here on 7/23/24. I wanted to give this place another try since the reviews have been high. This time, I ordered the double cheeseburger, and it was very good. It had a bit more flavor than the 1/3 pounder. Thereâs a pepper flavor, yet it could still use a bit more flavor. Iâd come back for the double cheeseburger again. I didnât order the fries due to my previous experience.
Original review: This was my first time here. The place had a good vibe: it was clean, there was good pop music, and the staff was friendly. I was excited to try a new burger. I ordered the 1/3-pound burger, fries, and a side of ranch. When it was ready, the presentation was lovely.
I started with the fries, and unfortunately, I was disappointed. They were basic and tasted like typical frozen fries youâd buy at the grocery store or the fair, to be honest. So that was a bummer.
As for the burger, a lot was going on, and it was pretty messy, which is totally fine. But after taking a few bites, I wasnât impressed. There wasnât a lot of flavor, the bun was a bit thick and chewy, and the burger patty was a good size, cooked about medium, but it lacked something. I canât quite put my finger on it. Perhaps it was more bland than expected.
I will likely not be back for another burger. However, I did notice on the menu that they offer fried chicken sandwiches, so I may try...
