I recently moved to Utah. Have been in their store several times. I usually feel like I am bothering them. I was looking for buckets with a gamma lid, they didn't have a 5 gallon bucket in the store, only a 6 gallon bucket...I guess it was in a storage unit in back. They were quite annoyed that they had to go out in the storage unit to get my buckets. I bought nearly $200 worth that day. I went in another time to get instant Clear Gel to make jam. I had looked for it each time I had been in before, they never had any on the shelf, so I asked this time. They said they were sure they had some, but it was, again in the back. I don't live in Orem, so its at least 30 minutes to get to their store. The man said to me," you know we close st 5!". I told him I didn't know when they closed, I assumed 6 since the doors were open when I arrived. He said they havent closed at 5 for 3 years. He told me I was keeping everyone late. I told him I would be happy to take my business somewhere else... "oh no, it fine," but he told me 2 more times that they closed at 5. Then a lady that was getting my Clear gel continued to tell me 2-3 more times how I should come in earlier because they close at 5. I felt so bad by the time I left. I need to find another store that wants my business. It was a little after 5 by the time I bought my clear gel and other items. It was not 5 when I arrived but that was #1 on their minds, not being kind and friendly to a customer. I need to find...
Read moreThis store has been grabbing my attention for years, but I have not had a real reason to go in until a few days ago, when another retailer suggested I visit, because they did not to typically carry the type of product I wanted.
Maybe because of Omicron, there was minimal customer service at this store. I had lots of questions and was ready to spend lots of money, but getting answers to my questions was extraordinarily difficult.
I went back to the initial retailer, who answered my questions in detail. I ended up placing a special order.
This store lost a rather large sale because they were too busy to answer a few questions. I hope that this is not the regular course of...
Read moreAfter owning Bosch cookie paddles for a little more than one month, three of the the gear teeth broke. They have a year warranty. When I went in to exchange them, the woman processing the exchange insisted we must have been mixing something hard. My husband was making cookies and had already used wire whips to mix the butter and sugar. I explained more than once that there was nothing hard in the mix, and she kept insisting that there must have been. I changed my request to a refund. I don’t need that kind of incivility in my life. We purchased a Bosch mixer and a Whisper Mill there some time ago and occasionally other small items but will not be back...
