The Orchard — Attraction in Orem

This is a cute little play place where they have nice clean family restrooms, slides, places for the kiddos to climb and lots to play on. They even have it so the wall comes up for the summer so the kids can go outside and play on their splashpad and other outdoor equipment, and the entire wall comes down when the cold comes so the kids can stay nice and warm indoors and still play on the indoor equipment. It's something we always must do after a fun trip shopping at the mall and even better to get a Boba and a pretzel then stop by and relax while the kids play. Even tho it's not very big, it is also just a small portion of the mall which has so much to offer as well! Including a new play center definitely geared towards older kids or adults which includes bowling and a huge foam pit! I'd definitely recommend to anyone with kiddos to stop by the play place at the Orchard at University...

The Orchard is a cute little park that's tucked into an opening between the University Place shopping mall and the new structure being built to the north of the existing building. There is more than enough parking, easy access, and it's centrally located at State street and about 1200 south. There is a beautiful pond with a water show timed to music. Lots of seating with tables covered with awnings and umbrellas for an outdoor stop. It's located right outside the children's play area that has lots of fun activities for kids. It's always clean from leaves and snow and has music playing from the parks sound system. It's a great place to bring your lunch, buy a lunch from the food court or just...

Went to Rensissance Day. Had tons of fun. Hope you continue this next year, and can get more groups involved, more booths, more food. Only complaint was not enough shady areas as it was so very hot and sunny. Tables were missing umbrellas. Maybe move the ones next to the building out into the grassy area while the event goes on?

And I hope the staff brought the extra free flutes home to their kids so they too can experience the joy I'm having of three girls play them....continuously...off key.. all day and night. No kids? Let me bring mine to your house so you dont miss the...
