Shabundy's — Local services in Orem

Purchased a rug that they posted on their Instagram; picked it up Friday night and brought it into my home Saturday morning to set up. I vacuumed the rug before knowing it wasn’t wrapped or covered when I picked it up so I assumed it would be dirty; it filled my vacuum cleaner full 5 times with fuzz and fluff. Enough so that I had to dig it out from the vacuum. This rug is absolutely unusable and never should’ve been sold. This isn’t a well made rug obviously or has obviously been very heavily used. They are very shady to sell this rug and not post or ever say how much it sheds, that most definitely should’ve been done. I spoke to the store and they told me management reviewed it and wouldn’t do any type of exchange and that it is what it is. Store policy. I never once asked for my money back, which I honestly should’ve done with how poorly made this rug is. All I wanted was to exchange it because no one can use a rug that sheds this much. They refused to help in anyway. This was my first and last purchase with any shabundy store. What an absolute joke that they conduct their business this way. Never would I return to...

I wish I could give 0 stars; not because of the lack of inventory, but because of the disturbing “customer service” I witnessed in the store on Black Friday. I witnessed two women with a cart full of product pay for all of their stuff, but had a question on pricing for one of the products. A woman, who I’m assuming was the manager, proceeded to belittle them, and even so much as called them bullies for simply wanting to get the fair and RIGHT asking price for one of the items. The manager and other workers told them the price was marked wrong, even though I saw at least two other boxes of the SAME ITEM with the price these poor women were trying to get their item for. I’ve LOVED shabundy’s in the past but I have to say the nickel and dime has got to stop! Prices rise everywhere of course due to inflation. We’re seeing it in ALL businesses - that’s understandable. This however is not, things that use to be flat priced are now being priced individually and I’ve seen it slowly happen over time. Things that were at one point in the cardboard bins are now being individually priced! Such a money grab. Not to mention Reviews are encouraged by ‘giveaways’ so that already tells you that the critical honest reviews are being suppressed and rather than making real change management takes it defensively.
