Maivie — Local services in Orem

I have driven by Maivie hundreds of times wishing I would make time to spend an evening in that beautiful workshop. I finally did . . . My sister and I booked a three hour evening that I we WILL NEVER FORGET!!! In a world where there is unrest, we sat in a clam and beautiful place surrounded by the beauty. All the rich colors of dried flowers 💐 we could ever imaging. It was a beautiful, most satisfying evening I have ever spent creating a piece of art. I had no idea I could make such a gorgeous piece. This is such a different and unique experience. I really enjoyed it! There are SO many flowers to choose from and they are very beautifully pressed, you really can create anything! Only feedback I really have is to GLUE AS YOU GO! No one mentioned this during our workshop so I laid everything out and then started to glue. But basically had to remove it all to glue the flowers down and felt like I did the entire thing twice, so I ended up barely finishing within the 3 hour time slot. We had a party of 13 friends and family from ages 7-83. Many of us were sure we didn’t have a creative bone in us and our creation would be awful, but the staff and Lucas and Vanessa (The owners) were so helpful to give slight suggestions that made all the difference. They were patient, caring and very well organized. The training video at the beginning was a great idea! This isn’t a cheap activity, but the creations and the time spent together was priceless.❤️.
