Even though the store manager apologized, I still feel like this review needs to be written. I came in today August 29, 2023 at 12:30 for an appointment to get my iPhone 11 screen repaired, I had no other issues with the phone!! My phone was returned to me with no data….what really pissed me off is that both the manager and young girl at the front desk told me that I came in without data on my phone which was not true they messed my phone up! I knew the girl wasn’t the brightest the moment I interacted with her when I walked in the store and she told me to log onto my iCloud account and my device popped up with my name attached to it and she proceeded to tell me that it wasn’t the right device lol…. but when she tried to tell me that I can’t make calls without data I really knew something was off….they told me the repair was not the cause of my phone no longer having data and there’s nothing further that they could do & they would not take accountability which really upset me because I knew that was not true and after about an hour of sitting in the store with no assistance because they felt it wasn’t their issue the manager finally came back out and decided to try the SIM card as a last resort and guess what… when he took it out he saw that my SIM card was dirty and had finger prints on it causing the data issue…today was the first day my SIM card had ever been taken out my phone and the young girl was the one who removed it.He cleaned the sim card and problem solved. that was such a simple solution and would’ve saved me so much wasted time if they wouldn’t have been so quick to accuse me of bringing the phone in without data…I do not recommend this repair store but if you have to go to this one and something happens do not leave until they resolve the issue because they will try to tell you it’s not their fault. I really hope no other issues arise after this repair I would never want to visit this...
Read moreI recently had a highly disappointing experience at CPR. I brought in my phone for what I assumed would be a straightforward repair, only to be met with a shocking and invasive demand: they insisted on having my passcode to complete the service. When I inquired why this was necessary, they offered no satisfactory explanation, leaving me extremely concerned about the security of my personal information. Am I supposed to believe that the honor system is the only thing keeping them from popping into my password list and copying a few down.
In today’s digital age, where our phones store sensitive data like banking details, passwords, and private messages, it’s unacceptable for a repair shop to demand access to this information without a clear, justifiable reason. It felt like an egregious invasion of privacy, and their lack of transparency only deepened my mistrust.
I suggested that they could perform the repair without needing my passcode, but they were adamant. This left me with no choice but to decline their service, as I simply couldn’t trust that my data would remain secure in their hands. It’s incredibly frustrating that a business would prioritize their convenience over customer privacy.
I would strongly caution anyone considering this shop for phone repairs to think twice. Until they revise their policies to respect customers’ privacy and provide clear explanations for their actions, I cannot recommend their services. In my opinion, a company that disregards the importance of safeguarding personal information is not worthy of my...
Read morePlease do NOT bring your devices here, especially Apple devices. Go ANYWHERE else. I brought in my iPhone 16 Pro Max with a cracked screen. They replaced the screen for $380 (which is what Apple themselves will replace it for - no deals to be had here) and instantly started having issues with the screen going black randomly and Face ID not working. I brought the phone back in and they diagnosed the issue. When I came back to pick it up for the second time, they said they misdiagnosed the issue and the phone has a damaged chip and there’s nothing they can do for me now. I reminded them the phone was in perfect working condition (other than a cosmetic issue with the cracked screen) when I brought it in and requested a full refund for my troubles, my BRAND NEW phone that is now internally damaged because of them. They told me they will only refund me my $380 if they can take off the new screen and replace it with the cracked screen! KICK ROCKS! We settled on a partial refund of $130 and a free screen protecter when I eventually get a new device, but in the grand scheme of things I was still robbed by this place. I never got a chance to speak with the manager despite being kind and understanding to the employees throughout the entire process because I knew that they were not the ones calling the shots. I was nothing but respectful to these people and they still bent me over. Save yourself the headache and the disappointment. You’d be better off flushing your device down the...
