I brought my wife here because she wanted to start a new perfume making hobby. For this she needed the basics of essential oil, perfumers alcohol, some vials, scent swabs & pipettes, and glass aparatus (funnel, mixing bowl & such.) This store is massive, some things are a little over-priced; I digress though, she could not find what she wanted. They have a very limited stock of around 12 to 16 essential oils, all priced at $6.99 each, which begged the question of how good-a-quality they are. They're mostly intended for burning on light bulbs and soap making, so the quality is not very good. This was a completely wasted journey for us & we wish we'd called before making the journey. I suggest you do that though if you're looking for something very specific. I'd like to throw in that at least a third of the store is unrelated to 'hobbies,' as in, there's a lot of furniture & ready made items for your home, so this tips the balance slightly in to the home-goods & seasonal decor store category rather than a dedicated hobbiest store. When asked by the only cashier there if we found everything ok, my wife said no & the cashier seemed completely indifferent & unwilling to help. Unless we start making our own curtains & cushions or speciality cakes, I highly doubt we'll be going there again. Only giving 2 stars because I'm sure many people will find this store useful - just please call them before making a journey if you're wanting something specific. (My wife said it seems like a great place to go if you want to start making your own t-shirt designs. Blank tees are really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHobby Lobby's lobby isn't a hobby lobby literally, like Bob Loblaw's lawblog is a law blog by Bob Loblaw. All alliteration aside it's actually a furnished foyer. Pretty pedagogical pedestrian patrons pass philosophical posters per chance palm to palm, politely. And ornamental order adequately adorns all aisles; meanwhile smart consumer's supply shaped smiles. Everyday low, epitome of "plumber Joes" easily escape exit rows with full wallets overflow'n. Beads, boards, baskets, bunny rabbits, believe Lobby of Hobby better stack it, stick it, and stock it. This review is non-profit, pro-bono, au gratis, but, but, but, maybe, Hobby Lobby could bring me something to quench cold cravings, kinda like KoalaTea (quality) coupons ' and cash...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA-OK! They are a larger location with tons of merch and seasonal offerings. They were in the midst of changing over from Christmas holiday to Valentine's Day and Easter items when we were there, so it was a touch chaotic in the front area, no big thing - can't wait to see the new stuff!
It's a crowded store that feels very 'busy' but it does give you a ton of options. I do paper crafts, sewing and Cricut stuff, so I like to look through those areas specifically, but we are also redoing our daughter's bathroom so I wanted to see if they had any cute wall decor.
We didn't end up getting anything, but the register lines looked reasonable and they had two cashiers. ii
Overall: B Solid A-OK location - it's 'busy' with stuff, but gives...
