As someone whoās a fan of Ulta , for years. With all due respect , this store treated me as if I didnāt matter at all , and was an annoyance to them . In all my years of working in retail , and being a consumer I thought I had seen , and been through every possible or scenario of good , bad , and just mean customer service . From walking in , to not being greeted , waiting over 10 min to check out , once getting to the register , the cashier didnāt look at up at me , ignoring me not saying a word , not thanking me for my business , not responding to the multiple times I said thank you . But wait the next part is jaw dropping ,after not being helped for 10 minuetrs , and asking for help. This is where it gets really bad . The manager asked two associates to stay with me and help me right , nope wrong . One of the associates left after about two minutes , said they would be right back and never came back . The other associate , didnāt listen , hear , or respond to me . When I said multiple times I really really need help finding products . After explaining twice that I only wanted certain products , that the associate ignored my wishes and insisted on only one product from a company that in the past never worked , but here it is as they were showing me one other product out of the many products I had wanted . They said very loudly over there mike , Iām not here to do that , Iām not doing that Iām not paid to do that . Still asking about other products that worked for me , they wouldnāt offer any other products. The annoyance that they demonstrated with their tone , words and actions made it clear . They really really didnāt want to help me . Even cheerfully saying to a customer. When the customer asked a question of course of course . As someone who reads people , as part of my job this was the most upsetting . As Iām leaving the store 35 minuet later , on my one day off as someone working two jobs. Truly I could have gone to my local Ulta , where they have always helped me no matter , how long , what products I needed, giving recommendations , showing care , listening , responding and respectful. Truth be told all Iām hoping is that no one goes through this again . That the next time someone comes in , begging for help , asking about products , saying they need alot of products , instead of dismissing them , not listening to them , not staying with them , rushing them off . I had originally done 2 different transactions to take advantage of my coupons I had, when doing the exchange I told Sonyanell the cashier that I wanted to do 2 different refund transactions and for her to reapply my coupon I had used the day before for my purchase. The shampoo I was trying to exchange was cheaper by $5 dollars so I was expecting a refund of about $8-9 per transaction with applying the coupon. The cashier Sonyanell told me that both the coupons would be applied to my new purchase, which in fact did not happen. When I looked over the receipt & told her it did not happen she called her manger Ralph over & I had to reexplain the situation to her. Ralph explained to me very rudely not listing that there is no possible way she can reapply the coupon to my transaction and they only 1 coupon could be used for each transaction. Again, I explained to her thatās what I had done the day prior to the shampoo and I just wanted to do the same with the new shampoo but she told me that i was not possible and since it was ābusyā (2 people were In line) that I would have to wait In line again to do a return. I told her that this was NOT very good customer service from a manger & she that I just wanted a full refund for my products. Ralph told me I had to get BACK in line that I originally stood in to do a refund. I asked if she could just do it for me since I already had waited In line & sheās a manager and she stated that she is ānot the one on the registerā. MIND = BLOWN! If you donāt have the experience to accomplish the desires of your customer donāt humĆllate them buy tossing them to the curb for somebody else to clean up your mess extremely unprofessional. Asked to speak to the supervisor, she never gave face.Ulta may have a lot of cosmetics, good hair products and even a big variety of perfumes but this Ulta has the worst customer service Iāve ever seen and would not recommend it to anybody visiting Orlando and staying by the airport. Ladies you know your hair and you know what works for you donāt allow this incompetent salon establishment insinuate they know whatās better for your appearence. Nobody is doing you a favor your paying good money for your service. As far as Iām concerned all I got was a bottle of water that I paid $157.00 for. I know thatās not an astronomical amount of money for your hair but for a bottle of water itās highway robbery cause I never got the service that you expect with the personal care of your hair and if this Ulta does not understand that than they should remove the salon from this location. All I asked for was toning the gray streaks in the front of my face nothing else no routes no cut I didnāt even get a full wash, unbelievable!! This is the 2nd or 3rd time Iāve been there, NEVER...
