Tijuana Flats — Restaurant in Orlando

This Tj's close to costco, but nothing like any other Tj's I have been to. I walk in and no greetings like I usually get from Tj's, there was only one cashier that was talking to a customer who they knew, and that was cool but, they were so busy trying to close (1 1/2 hr before closing) that they all looked but kept doing there thing to get closed, so I finally ordered then sat down then I look over and looking past the counter was kitchen trash cans, kinda gross, there are usually block off section so you cant see stuff like that. I get my food it was Tj quilty, a worker came to me and did ask how everything tasted, but when I finish my drink let the lid hang for a refill and everyone just walked by or they were to busy having conversations with each other. The manager was doing his paperwork at the table next to even ask. So I got up and ask for a refill. I still gave a tip. But this place needs to be trained or should be just a take out place. I will give them 2 months and try...

On the evening of June 21, 2022, I had an awful experience with satisfactory customer service. The wait time to receive 2 tacos, chips and drink (the Taco Tuesday meal special) along with some queso was almost 30 minutes. There were 2 parties that came in significantly after me, placed their orders and received their orders before me. This is my second uneventful experience with slow customer service at this location. I will NOT visit and patronize from this location ever again. I spoke to the manager on duty and he added insult to injury as if the long wait time for my food was insignificant. He also acted like he was doing me a favor by handing me a stale $2.00 bag of chips and stating loudly there is usually a charge for these chips when I did ask for the price of the chips. How insulting and very unprofessional! This is not the proper code of ethics nor etiquette when it comes to professional customer service. As the Ford Motor Company once said "Customer...

The food is great, I can’t deny that. However, the customer service for takeout is absolutely atrocious. There seems to be no set system in place for picking up takeout / online orders, even though they have what’s supposed to be an area where you come in and ask and receive for your already online ordered food.

After 15 minutes of patiently waiting and being ignored I stopped an employee and explained to her that I ordered my food, she cut me off and said, all the registers were taken and I needed to wait for one to clear up and once one did “go for it”... Mind you, I had already ordered AND paid for my food online. She would have known this if she’d actually listened. I found another employee who then actually listened and went and grabbed me my food, which by now was cold.

All that to say this, avoid ordering takeout from this location it is not worth the...
