John and John's is a fantastic pizza shop, one of the best in the greater Orlando area in my opinion. I stopped in around noon today (a Friday) and walked into the small shop and approaching the front counter. The shop is simple, nicely laid out and clean. There's a dozen tables or so for those grabbing a quick bite, but I was taking my food to go. Being that I had never dined there, I wanted to try nearly everything. So that's what I did, and proceeded to order one of each of their specialty slices that was available (as they do serve pizza by the whole pie or by the slice). I also order three of their four available sandwiches (the Cavo's cheese steak, Chicken Leao and the Eggplant caprese). While waiting a few minutes the staff (including one of the John's of John and John's) and his sister, who was working the front counter, talked to me about their family's business and history. It was great to hear about the family's story and how it built this shop for the community to enjoy. My order was out to me quickly, I tanked the hospitable and friendly staff, and I was on my way.

Upon getting home, I took some pictures and dove in to try it all. All in all, everything was fantastic. Their pizza is a New York style, yet even after enduring the 30-minute car ride home, every single slice was still crisp on the bottom. The flavor of each was also very good, at a minimum I would say their pizza gets a 7/10 and at best it's a 10/10. Our favorite was hands down the Mediterranean blue slice, and I also really loved the upside down, that being said, I would be happy if someone handed me any slice off their menu. If I had to pick my least favorite, I would say it would be the alla vodka, the flavor just wasn't as pronounced as the rest, but as previously stated, every slice is good. Next up was their sandwiches, which was almost harder to pick a favorite than the pizza. The bread is sturdy, but still soft, the construction of the sandwiches is thought out, flavors were balanced and textures were all on point. Even the fried eggplant was still crispy after the car ride home and being covered in sauce and toppings (talk about a winner). I would absolutely recommend any of their sandwiches.

It's hard to find things that I really dislike about this shop. If I had any critics, two things come to mind. First off, being that it's a New York style pizza with a well done crust, the outer crust was a little dry, so I might recommend asking for a side of sauce (maybe garlic butter, red sauce or vodka sauce?) to dunk your crust in. The other thing would be that ordering pizza by the slice is a little pricey in my opinion ($5-$7 per slice), but great quality and flexibility to order by the slice comes at a price, so I understand (and to be fair, if you order a whole pie, it's much more reasonably priced).

All that being said, I would say that John and John's is definitely now one of my favorite pizza shop's in Orlando, and I would highly recommend that everyone...

John & John's - A Pizza Shop is a hidden gem that delivers a truly satisfying dining experience. To start off, the Krombacher Pils beer served here is a fantastic choice. With its light flavor, it pairs perfectly with the delicious pizzas on offer. It provides a refreshing and crisp accompaniment to the meal.

Now, let's talk about the food. The Garlic Bread with Cheese is an absolute must-try. The combination of rich garlic flavors and gooey melted cheese is simply divine. The side of marinara sauce adds a delightful tanginess and completes the dish beautifully. It's a perfect appetizer that sets the stage for the pizzas to come.

Speaking of pizzas, John & John's offers a range of delectable options. The Alla Vodka pizza deserves a solid 8.2/10. Its creamy vodka sauce, combined with high-quality cheese and toppings, creates a mouthwatering experience. The Mediterranean Blue pizza, which happens to be my personal favorite, earns a well-deserved 9/10. Its unique blend of Mediterranean flavors, including feta cheese, FRESH basil, and sun-dried tomatoes, is a burst of savory goodness. Lastly, the Margherita pizza garners an impressive 8.3/10. The simplicity of fresh tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella allows the quality of the ingredients to shine.

Overall, John & John's - A Pizza Shop provides a delightful dining experience. From the exceptional Krombacher Pils beer to the mouthwatering Garlic Bread with Cheese and the outstanding variety of pizzas, this place is a must-visit for pizza lovers seeking a...

While I am sitting in the restaurant to eat a slice of pizza with my wife who had just finished her cancer treatment, I thought it would be nice to share a drink. So I ask for an extra cup to pour her a little. Everyone knows how fragile you get with the cancer treatment. Your immune system is compromised and very vulnerable. So the owner came over and touch the extra cup at the rim with her finger and said this is a water cup. I was so surprised that she would be so petty and inhumane. She Really have no heart and I think she is terrible owner. At no point did we abuse the soda machine. I just wanted my wife to be safe and drink from her own cup.....I invite everyone to protest this pizza shop by not giving them business. And to think because they are so close to the Hospital that they would have a heart.. I am really sorry only for you as I forgive your ignorance. Next time have a heart and don't be quick to judge because we are not like you. You lost a customer. And the truth is the pizza is not even that good. Very dry and nothing like New York Pizza.... And please ask your friends that sat behind me to stop commenting lies... You should be more honest and own up to what you did... Not even an apology from you...I...
