Went to ship package at their FedEx shipping location inside of Walgreens in Orleans. A little more they would chase me out of the store. Ship label was on my phone. Walgreens employee told me they don't print labels and sent me to Staples(staples was super helpful) walked back to Walgreens with package and label. Older gentleman behind the cash said I need to stick it onto the package. I asked don't you usually use those clear fedex pouches. He said he was all out of them. I asked if he could use his tape gun to tape it. A second employee, a young gentleman who worked the photo section said "absolutely not. That's the stores tape, if you need tape go buy some" So I walked back to staples who guess what? They said no worries let us take care of that. According to staples I'm not the first person who was treated this way by Walgreens. They taped up my label and package and thanked me for coming. I offered to pay but they refused and said your thanks is enough. Went pack to Walgreeens. Same older gentleman looks at me and said with a sneer. "Did you finally do it right, I answered " No thanks to you, you really should try being more helpful to your customers if you ever expect to see them again". He could care less which prompted me to write this review. Hopefully someone at Walgreens head office reads this and takes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSince Walgreens took over this former Rite Aid store, the pharmacy has deteriorated rapidly. The former Rite Aid staff, who were a high-functioning team, have mostly left in frustration. The new staff do not know any of the customers, whereas the old team knew every customer's name and medications. It's clear that he new folks are completely overwhelmed; there are not enough staff for the volume. It now takes days to get prescriptions filled. I just waited on hold for 35 minutes, trying to find out if my 2 prescriptions were ready for pick up. I finally had to hang up without ever getting through. And if I go there to find out, I'll be standing on line for up to an hour, and will most likely find out they are not yet ready, even though they were called in days ago. Errors and mistakes are happening with greater frequency. Customers are furious. This is a town and region with a generally elderly population, and we can no longer rely on what used to be a really good pharmacy. If you need prescriptions filled, please run to another pharmacy. This Walgreens is a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo, I had a terrible experience with the actual pharmacy at this store 2 days ago, but that's not what this pertains to. Today I got an EXTREMELY bad sunburn. After putting aloe with lidocaine on, I found that I was still in DESPERATE need of something for pain, as well as an anti-inflammatory. I arrived at the store at 9:57, they close at 10, but they were closed, and counting their drawers. Now, even though they shouldn't have been closed, they certainly didn't need to re-open the store for me, but they did. People reading this: This is how we are supposed to act towards each other. And, that is what a pharmacy is supposed to be there for. It just needs said that, again, even though they technically shouldn't have been closed in the first place, we need to look out for each other, loke these peopledidfor me in my timeof need. I can't express my thanks enough to the 2 women working there tonight. THANK YOU, and GOD BLESS YOU and YOUR...
