BUYER BE AWARE! Owner, Robert, is not trustworthy, nor is he professional. Sold us a defective "new" phone. We went back within a week, he didn't know what was wrong with the phone, so instructed us to wait another week to see if software updates would resolve the issue. It did not, so we returned a week later, his employee contacted Verizon, they sent us a "refurbished" phone. Mind you, we only had the phone two weeks at this point and we are paying for a "new" phone on our plan for 24 months. I sent the refurbished phone back to Verizon, as I paid for a new phone and they said only the place I purchased the phone could provide new phone, because Robert is a franchise owner, not a Verizon employee. So, I journeyed back to see Robert, he refused to take my phone and provide me with a new phone, as Verizon would expect him to do. He said we missed the window of opportunity and that we could call Verizon and get a refurbished phone only. As the customer, I explained that if he had not sent us away several times to keep trying to work with this defective phone, time would not have lapsed. I was in front of him, week one, so I should have received a new phone at that time. This would be his error. However, rather than accept that he used poor judgement and made the mistake, he refused to help us. I asked to speak to someone above him, he said there is noone above him, several times this went back and forth, because I wouldn't accept that there is not someone above him. Long story short, I had to call Verizon, log a complaint and spend several days escalating through their process to get a new phone. Lesson here is that this particular franchise owner will not have your best interest as the customer in mind. I recommend that you do your business elsewhere. Verizon in Hyannis is slightly further, but they are a corporate store and service there was very very...
Read moreLast Christmas Eve, this store was bizzaro-land! While shopping, the district manager screamed like a rabid wolf (or worse) at his store manager. He was literally foaming at the mouth (can be verified via security cameras). The whole situation was very odd because when the maniac district manager screamed at the top of his lungs, the saleswoman began to, what it seemed like, FAKE cry—hobbling away thereafter.
Before this seemingly manufactured occurrence, the saleswoman and district manager were acting “close” while badgering the store manager. The district manager was very passionate for the saleswoman; their eyes were sparkling like crisp dew on sharp glades of grass on a sunny spring morning. Every time the store manager tried to speak, the district manager and the saleswoman cut him off, making the whole situation very tense, especially for the shoppers. The saleswoman definitely was smirking it up during the badger session.
Back to the screaming: What the district manager was spewing was categorically nonsensical. The second the store manager tried to call the saleswoman out in a raised voice (he said she was clearly lying about something that could have been verified via camera)—the district manager SCREAMED “YOU CAN’T YELL; ONLY I CAN YELL; I CAN YELL AT YOU, YOU CANT YELL AT HER.” That does not make sense. How about no yelling at all, Captain Angry? Gung ho!
The saleswoman deserves an Oscar and the district manager deserves a gift certificate to an Anger...
Read moreMy phone died very suddenly on Thursday, and I was unable to access my email or reach out to friends. It was completely frazzling to say the least, and felt cut off from the world. Andrew at the Orleans store could not have been more professional or friendly with me. He was extremely patient while I got in touch with my Mom (family plan), and steered me through the maze of insurance issues, new plans and phones. He got me set up with a new iPhone, and I left with a huge smile because of his friendly demeanor. As I sit here I my new phone, I feel extremely fortunate for his assistance, and doubt that I could’ve gotten my issue resolved as quickly or as smoothly without him. I will be recommending Andrew to any friend with a Verizon issue, or any phone issue for that matter....
