Loyal Order of Moose — Local services in Ormond Beach

It is sad to see what is happening to the Moose. 15 years ago when we first wintered in Daytona, and started going and became members, the facility was usually packed with people enjoying good food and entertainment As seasonal visitors we enjoyed the Moose most Thursdays when we had dinner and enjoyed dancing to Ernie. Over the years the crowds have dwindled substantially and the food is not what it once was. It was no longer necessary to be a member to enter the building and so we dropped our membership and only attended rarely. Today we planned to meet friends who were members. We were surprised that they were checking memberships at the door. We.were told that since we were not members we were not allowed to enter, and since I had been a member previously, my friends could not sign us in. MY wife was embarrassed but I was just very annoyed. The manager was called and he was rude as he escorted us out the door. Needless to say, we will never again enter the Moose Lodge here or anywhere, and will be passing our experience on to anyone who may be inclined to go there...

Moose in Omond Beach. Been a Moose member for a long time. Since in Ohio. Paid extra to transfer here. Now dues for women 60 bucks. Same as men. Since moved to Palm Coast. They closed 1 here 2 years ago for failure to pay their rental fees and ultilites and was evited. So Ormond now is far away from us. Stop in 1 time since last renewal. Treated do badly. Didnt stay very long. Use to be regulars when lived in Ormond. And spent a ton of money here. Now always notify you 2 months late dues again. Really?? No discount?? I loved the one in Miamisburg Ohio but Ormond has really lost it. Never renew again. You would think a member of over 8 years would be treated better. I have donoted money to this a that and they will not stop. Hubby already dropped his membership. 1 year ago. I am doing the same. Do NOT RECOMMEND being member the this Moose lodge. Not worth...

I ordered a fish sandwich that had the best grilled fish ever. Seriously as good as any fish I have eaten at even the most upscale expensive restaurant! The establishment is very nicely appointed.
