So, it’s essentially a monopoly for Oroville area. They might know how to read and use the tools. Or maybe just have the right tools. All cool except having the knowledge is only part of running a good business. If you have no idea about car audio, they’ll make sure they take advantage of being the only place in town, your lack of the industry, and a “warranty” they have. If they didn’t do everything from OEM, they’ll have to redo everything down to the 18 gauge remote wire or leave you soundless. No matter how new or professionally installed the previous system was. Even if it comes down to a simple amp replacement because yours fried after years of use. If you decide to bite the bullet or somehow find a middle ground, you’re met with them taking the shortest and fastest way to get the job done because they just spent hours tearing your vehicle down just to shove an overpriced bill in your face to do the job their way. Then while they’re working, when they’re done, and during every update, they’ll make sure to bash the other business that did the previous work. Now, I only really dealt with one of the guys out of what seems to be two. I heard the other one was the better half. But as business they will share this bad review. What to take away from this paragraph? If you close your eyes and plug your nose, that nasty food you choke down has nutrients you need to survive, and the people serving that nasty food will gladly give it to you at a gouged price since it’s all that you can find in the area. Good on them for being a productive part of Oroville, horrible business model or at the very least having a toxic crew member. Find a business that knows their work, and is there to help you, not just take as much money from you...
Read moreCalled to have 4 brand new in the box JBL door speakers put in my 01 Denali just to make sure they are wired correctly . The comments clearly say that many of people have brought their own items in and had them installed but apparently I’m not good enough lol . I can understand not giving a warranty for door speakers purchased else where . But not installing them because people don’t want to pay a 100% mark up makes no sense . What’s with all the pre Madonna car stereo installers ? You charge MORE than enough for very simple installations ($100 for two door speakers that takes 10 minutes) why would that not be enough ? People need to start boycotting these businesses and only do business with car stereo shops that actually appreciate the business . I want to support small business during COVID but this is just crazy lol DO NOT PAY TWICE WHAT SOMETHING IS WORTH JUST because that’s the only way these guys will help you . Plenty of other shops are actually grateful for the business ! Just call around. Consumers have the power to stop businesses from acting like this if we actually do...
Read moreI’ve owned a few cars in my life and I will always come here for any sound system related things I need done! Not only are they kind, knowledgeable, and fast, but they’re also incredibly reasonable, and they pay so much attention to detail! I recently went in to have my speakers looked at because I thought they were going out, but there was a wire connection that was going bad. They changed it out, got my car ready to go quickly, and they charged me less than they originally quoted! And on top of that, they let me know my battery was low and suggest I have it looked at. I did, and it was bad! I had it changed the next day because they charged it a little while my car was in their shop and it had enough juice in it to keep me going another day. Seriously some great guys in this place! I highly suggest for anyone who’s looking for some sound system upgrades to check this place out! Thank...
