I recently purchased the Samsung F711 Galaxy Z Flip 3 from this store on 2/2/2022 and came in this evening, 8/9/22, requesting for assistant as the screen was cracked and lifting on the right side where the phone folds. I was greeted by Izzy, the rep with pink hair, and she informed me that it was either the screen protector or the phone itself that cracked. Izzy proceeded to take off the screen protector to check and advised that it was just the screen protector and offered to sell me a liquid glass screen protector which would cost $70. Since I recently purchased the phone in February, Izzy obtained approval from the manager (Larry/Lawrence) to discount $10 off the purchase price. I was in agreement with this, however Izzy was unable to apply the discount and asked the other representatives for assistant. Upon finding out that the store cannot apply screen protectors on the Galaxy Z Flip 3, the rep Brenda became extremely rude, aggressive, and accusatory that I mislead and miscommunicated to the customer service representative (Izzy) so she took off the original screen protector that came with the phone and that was my fault.
I DO NOT appreciate being accused and attacked by someone who was not there to assist in the beginning and did not know or understand the situation. If the Rep. Izzy was limited on the product knowledge of the phones offer, that is something Verizon needs to address. I came in tonight for assistant and expected someone who was knowledgeable and can guide me to make the right decisions on my cellphone needs. Instead, I encountered terrible customer service and a lack of product knowledge from Brenda and Izzy and was even accused that I should’ve known what product I purchased and mislead them. The Rep. Brenda lacked the soft skills needed for this trade. She was disrespectful and had no empathy for customers seeking help and did not try to understand the situation or find a solution. I got the impression that I was wasting their time by coming into the store. I was transferred to a 611 number instead. At this point, Izzy was nowhere to be found and there were no warm handoffs of any sort.
Luckily, there is a gem in this store. Myvajh sold this phone to me back in February and she was very helpful and knowledgeable then and the same tonight. As I was on the phone with the Verizon tech support, Myvajh was present and assisted with explaining the problem to the tech and throughout the whole encounter and continued to check-in and offered to assist in any way possible. I do want to give credit where credit’s due. Myvajh provided good customer service skills and product knowledge.
The whole situation tonight was very uncomfortable and I find it quite interesting that I even had to defend myself and my stance on the situation. I left the store with a phone that has no screen protector now because the staff decided to take off the original screen protector and now risking a higher chance of costly damages to my phone. I am appalled, frustrated, and greatly dissatisfied with my...
Read moreI would like to give the Oroville Verizon store 0 stars but then I would not be able to leave a review, I am going to say that I will be changing carriers ASAP because of the poor quality and service that I have had with this company, I should have left Verizon as soon as I pick them up but I couldn't because of the contract . I would like to say that starting off the first place I went was to the Walmart in Oroville and I got unprofessional help the female that was trying to help me with the Verizon account really didn't know to much what to do there was a lot of do this after you have your phone and do that after you have your phone so there was my first mistake. Then it comes to the Oroville phone store it's self oh my .... I had an issue the other day with being locked out of my phone so I went to have help getting it back to the way it's supposed to be that was quite challenging but with the one employee Katlyn she was great, friendly and very helpful the issue was resolved it did take sometime but it worked out ok. Then it came the next day I had to go back into the same store and this day was not so good at all I had the same issue but this time I was treated like I was a freak among other things I wasn't feeling to welcome at all the one employee was fude unprofessional and accused me of doing something I just got through telling him no over and over I was treated like I was completely dumb, I the kid that tried to help me was very unprofessional also he stood away from me like again I had some kind of illness, long story short I would never in my right mind recommend this store or company to anyone my thoughts are go to a different carrier or company not Verizon. I am going to be getting ahold of corporate about the Oroville...
Read moreSo frustrated with this place. This is NOT a Verizon store, but a third party dealer. I went there because I wanted to deal with humans rather than order phones online, but after being intentionally misled several times about promos, deals and prices I think I’ll just order through Verizon online next time. If you buy phones or plans here, make sure you get the deal in writing, and ask for specifics. Even then, you need to know all the right questions to ask; they won’t offer any help saving money. For example, I ordered a new iPhone and was told I would get an $800 off promo when I traded in my old phone. When my phone arrived several days later, they only offered me $400 off unless I upgraded my plan to the most expensive one. None of this was mentioned when I ordered the phone of course, and I didn’t know to ask. This same situation had happened twice already, always with an, “I never said that…” from the sales associate.
As for attitude, they were kind and respectful for the most part. However in my cumulative 10 hours spent in store this month, I heard lots of associates arguing and bragging about their commissions, complaining about other associates and badmouthing their boss and other customers behind their backs. I can only imagine what they had to say about me after I kept questioning them on why I wasn’t getting the prices they quoted me. Buying my last used car was quicker, easier, more straightforward and way more honest than setting my family up with new phones. Save yourself some pain and time, just drive to the actual Verizon store for n Chico or...
