I shop at this location a lot as it is down the street from my house. I had an experience that I usually donât encounter and given that when talking to the manager she seemed to want to justify it, I will leave a review instead. They have all of their prestige skincare locked up which is totally fine and understandable, I asked a young girl who was on the other side of the fixture if she worked here and if she could help me grab something as she was talking to a young man for over 8 minutes and I was just standing there. The conversation being had was a very casual and long conversation, I could understand if she was helping the customer but they were literally going through all the skin care together. When I asked if she could help me grab something real quick, she said I would have to wait a bit longer and then she can help me. If she wouldâve quickly opened the cabinet so I could grab what I needed, she couldâve simply went back to having her conversation with her friend or ideally, she couldâve asked someone else to assist me. If you do not have people accessible and around to help customers get items that are locked up, you shouldnât have the items locked up then because it is an inconvenience when people have to wait over 10 minutes to simply get help with one item, some customers donât want to be in the store all day and have other things to do. I ended up asking someone else, and the person went up to the same girl and the girl gave her, her keys to open the cabinet and she continued her conversation. đ I talked to a manger and the manager said âwell shes talking to a customer so that is probably whyâ, She was talking to someone completely different when I asked for help and it was a full blown conversation. If employees donât want to help, put the items back out so they are easily accessible. Iâve been a manager before, the situation was not handled correctly. Youâre going to have a customer waiting and ignore them so you can keep laughing and having a full length conversation with someone? At least walkie someone else to assist the customer if youâre not going to do it at the end of the day! That is the overall point, find someone else who can assist the customer so the customer isnât waiting for you to finish your conversation and so you can keep having your conversation/âhelpingâ the customer you...
Read moreVERY RUDE!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!! BRIANNA, AN EMPLOYEE, SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ALLOWED TO BE IN PUBLIC - SHE HAS THE POOREST ATTITUDE!!! I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, BY THE CASHIER AND THE MANAGER. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE, AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TJ MAXX. I purchased a pair of heels, which had a security tag. The tag had punched through the strap of the shoe, leaving a hole. It probably would have been ok, but the girl (her name is BRIANNA) at the register was "fighting" with the machine to remove the tag. The harder she twisted it, the bigger the hole got. Brianna succeeded in not only making the hole in the strap bigger, but she also destroyed material of the entire strap of the shoe. The manager took off $3, when it was a $60 pair of shoes. Not a good enough deal, in my opinion, but I did want the shoes. However, I tried to talk to BRIANNA and say something nice, like - "Well, I really do like the shoes and I hope you don't think I'm being rude." The only response I got was a glare from her. Again, I attempted to be nice and said, "I really do apologize if you think I'm being rude - I'm really not trying to upset you." Again, I got her glare and rolled eyes. Finally, I had enough - but was still nice and said one more nice comment. She didn't look at me, didn't ask if I wanted the receipt in the bag or my hand, she forgot to ring up my entire purchase, and then she just shoved the bag at me - which would have dropped to the floor in front of me, if I hadn't caught it. ...
Read moreI absolutely love this TJ Max but tonight the service was just unbelievably bad. I always write positive reviews on all the places I visit but I felt compelled to write this in hopes that management works with one of their employees on improving there service. I went tonight to return an item and just use those funds to purchase something else. Julissa was my cashier and literally the only two things she said to me were do I have the card the item was on without even asking what I was looking to do (get a full refund, use store credit for the item I took to her, etc) and then she told me to swipe the gift card. Literally those were the only two things. A hello or simple hi would have been nice or even a bye. She seemed to be in a bad mood and maybe she was having a bad day but itâs no excuse. Donât work directly with customers if you donât want to provide service to them. The employees here have always been so kind and personable but Julissa was the complete opposite. She didnât make eye contact once and like I said didnât greet or say goodbye. Just handed my receipt and couldnât even say anything or provide a friendly nod. I know your young but the gentleman working next to you seemed to be the same age and he was much kinder, friendlier and provided very well...
