Although the situation was taken into consideration, I still post reviews. I generally don't have issues at Target, but this was a bit much. Literally, upon my entrance at this location on November 30th, I was aggressively approached by your greeter apparently demanding I put on my mask or she would provide one. I was like, "HUH?" I didn't know what her deal was because it was so fast. My sister told me what she said and made me realize I hadn't pulled up my mask. I apologized but I was like, "you sound mad though and that isn't cool how you're talking to me cause I haven't even gotten in the store good." She looked at me and walked off. So, I only walked 2.8 seconds in before I saw several with no masks and was like, "did she charge at them to enforce the mandate...?" So, guess what I did? I took pics and video of everyone with no masks! My sister was laughing at me because I was being obvious, definitely after seeing that they were all Caucasian. I'm hoping that's not the case, but...🤷🏾♀️. I wasn't playing as I do massive reviews and said this was going up, too. I was not happy because the more unmasked white patrons I saw the harder to think it wasn't racially charged. On exit, I ended up asking to speak to a manager who so happened to be standing with the employee I was complaining about, detailing my experience and showed her every last pic and video I had with people not wearing masks. She apologized for her and said she does do this but she'll tell her to pipe down and sometimes people don't wear them after she tells them but it's not "certain people." I didn't bring up race to her but I'm sure she made the same estimation of the incident as I showed her my pics. Her speech sure confirmed my feelings like it was the case. I told her ok because it didn't make me feel good and to top it all off the frequency my family shops with this Target made me not want to visit again due to this employee. I did thank her for addressing it but made her aware that I'm posting my experience. I'm not quick to yell racism, but at the same time what was I supposed to think, definitely with what I caught on camera plus the apology wording? I plan on visiting again but if this situation repeats itself, I'll speak directly...
Read moreVery disappointed in the Oswego Target tonight. There was a clearance endcap of items with store made markdown tags. I saw an electronic shaver marked down, and thought I would give it a try. There were a few of them, all the same model for the same marked down price. When I checked out I noticed it came up as $219, not the stickerd price of $10.49 as it was tagged on the box. The cashier called a supervisor over and she told the supervisor it came up a different price than marked. The supervisor said " we made the tag so we have to honor it". She then asked how much it rang up as and the cashier told her $219. The supervisor said I'll be right back. When she came back she said this is marked wrong and we can't sell it to you for the price on the box, after I was just told they had to honor their mistake. I understand that mistakes happen, but Target made this mistake, not me, and on multiple packages of the same item. I expected an explanation of what the correct item should have been marked down and assistance to locate that shaver. Instead I was asked do you still want it for $219. There was no we're sorry for "our mistake" or a solution to the situation. I politely told her she may want to go check the endcap, as there were multiple packages still on the shelf with the "incorrect " price. Our family spends a lot of money at Target, and I would have been fine with them grabbing the correct item, and I would have purchased it. Instead they made me feel like I had done down something wrong buy grabbing the item they priced incorrect. Luckily there are many stores In the vicinity that I will be going to...
Read moreJust anothet terrible experience and I felt three strike rule appies well here. Stocking put out a box of POP! Figures (bobbleheads) over a week ago and the cashier would not let me buy them because they were "accidentally" put out early or had what they called a Street Date for 4/14/17. Fine. The cashier told me on the 14th of April, I could come back in the store and may my purchase then. I repeated the day and put this in my phone calander. On the 14th I came in to buy them, they then told me the street date was now the 16th (or Easter Sunday) so they would not be able to sell them to me until the following Monday because they were closed. Three people confirmed this and even though I was upset I couldn't have them for Easter baskets I said again...Fine. The guy that works in the electronics department was nice enough to put them in the managers office so they would be safe. I told my kids that they would have another surprise coming on Monday, this was a mistake. Today I go in to Target walk up to the electronics guy and ask if he wouldn't mind grabbing the Bobbleheads. He acts like he has no idea what Im talking about and then says let me see if we have any left. I patiently wait and another manager comes over and they both come out to tell me that Target changed the date again (on Saturday, I guess) and they put them on the floor on Saturday and they were all sold. I dont even have the words.... I have at least 5 similar stories with this location and Im done wasting my time with companies that dont care about customers, plenty of other places to do shopping around me. Good grief...
