An extremely welcome addition to the Owasso scene. As the cook in the house, and one who likes asian food, for years I was locked into schlepping it to Tulsa to one of the many asian stores in the Tulsa area, notably Nam Hai or Panasia. Tayeng is derailing those trips in an awesome way. I'm not gonna lie, Tayeng doesn't fully replace those trips, since they're just not that big yet, and can't possibly carry a comparable inventory, but for the 80-90% of my routine needs, Tayeng is delivering consistently. Their inventory is constantly expanding, adding in a large variety of produce and frozen meats and seafoods. Also boasting an impressive inventory of shelf stable foods and sauces, they routinely have the bulk of my needs covered. I dropped in today for bean sprouts and left with two sacks full of stuff, and noticed they're now carrying a small selection of asian meatballs and sausages. They also server a small assortment of daily fresh made foods such as spring rolls and cold salads, such as papaya, so if that's your thing, give them a go. Wish their customer service was better although the store is small and options are limited. Went in during lunch time hoping to pickup some deli to-go items. Totally understand if its slow and they don’t wanna stock up much at the front deli area- but when i asked the cashier guy to see how often they stock up and which days would have more food so i can come back. His reply was a mere flat: “Whenever they feel like making it from the back…” and left it at that. He looked annoyed at my presence and seems like he didn’t feel like working. Nonetheless, i still bought a few items to support this place. Will prob not go back...

A locally owned Asian market by the Yang family. There’s a nice selection of fresh groceries, frozen foods, take-out hot food options, and of course lots of noodle packets to peruse.

You’ll find lots of specialty sauces, drinks, desserts/candies, rice etc to help you make a fantastic meal for your friends and family. The owners are wonderful, kind, and care about their food.

Also, they do have a small display of pokemon and gundam for your kids to grab while you’re there.
