Red Swing Coffee — Restaurant in Owensboro

We enjoyed the aesthetic walking in but everything after that was highly disappointing. We ordered two coffees, an acai bowl and a chicken wrap for $27. It took a very long time to receive what we ordered (over 20 mins), coffees included, and they messed up half of it. We also overheard them make mistakes with others as well. Mind you, only about 5 other people were in the place with at least three employees working. No one greeted us. But the most upsetting part was that there was no changing table in the bathroom!!! It was the first time mom felt confident enough to bring the baby out, just wanted to enjoy some coffee. We had to change a three week old baby on your bathroom floor. New mama and baby were in tears. Your other location has been open long enough to know this is a necessity. Definitely wouldn’t be able to fit a wheelchair through the door either. I’m so excited to have a coffee spot on the west end! I think this might be the best seating atmosphere I’ve seen in a coffee shop. There are so many places to sit and have a conversation. It’s big enough for privacy but the seating is also made to feel intimate and cozy. I’ve brought my kids a few times and they like that there’s enough room to move around instead of having to sit at a tiny table. Also, I LOVE that there is an actual parking lot! I hate trying to find parking downtown. The coffee is delicious. I wish so badly that they would add the seasonal s’mores latte to their regular menu. Came in for the first time ever and was greeted by a super nice lady! She asked a lot of questions on what I liked or didn’t like to better understand what I might like as a drink and she really helped me out with picking what I wanted. The atmosphere was super inviting, especially for someone as reclusive as I am- and overall for a first experience it was super welcoming and comfortable. I think this will be my new spot to hang out and draw for awhile- at least when I have the time to. Already...
