Found clearance plush jacket. There was a regular tag with clearance sticker and a different sticker directly on the plush. After paying I noticed the cashier had rang up the higher price sticker stuck on the jacket. After waiting in line again a simple issue turned into an ordeal. My mother and I were treated like criminals. The cashier ended up calling 2 different people for help. They said the stuck on sticker was correct, even though it rang up knit top instead of plush jacket. Knits are woven materials not plush. The jacket had no front closures so it couldn't be worn as a top. They didn't look up the skew numbers and just stuck with what they knew was wrong. Manager said she would have to call general manager and review cameras. She said she had to see that I didn't put the perfect condition sticker on the tag. I am disabled and standing for even a short time causes pain and I have to lean on something. It would have been too painful waiting for all that. Not only could I not get a refund for the difference but they refused to take the jacket back. Will never shop there again and my family has said they won't either after hearing about the incident. Read moreI made a purchase here in October for my great-nephew and when I got home the security tag was still on the clothing. I set the purchase to the side to return it at a later time to have the security tag taken off an outfit. I wasn't able to give the gifts to my nephew before they moved 2000 miles away to San Diego where my nephew is now stationed. When I finally remembered to return the items, they wouldnt accept the outfit with the security tag or another item because I had taken the tags off!!! Of course I took the tags off 2 of the 5 items because I was giving them as a birthday present and was in the process of wrapping them when I discovered the security tag. I wouldn't have been returning ANY of the items that day had the cashiers done their job and removed the security tag during my first visit! The best part... the security alarms went off as I exited the store that night and instead of call me back to the register to check my bag/items... they just waved me on through and said, "Oh dont worry about it!".... I see why now! Im out $$$ and my nephew didnt get his birthday gift. Way to...
Read moreOne of the cashiers left the security tags on my granddaughters dress, I had to waste my time and gas to go back to Gabes to have the cashier take the tag off, I was in a hurry, I asked the cashier by the door if she could take the security tag off real quick, she was going to let me stand there longer, she didn't care that I had to come back because of their mess up, and another customer walked up, she started to check them out, so I asked again if she could take the tag off, it wouldnt have took a second, but she acted like I needed to stand in a long line, I shouldn't have had to come back for something so simple, they should have taken off in the first place, In the end alot of wasted time.
