Crumbl — Restaurant in Kentucky

Pros:

-App design is excellent and smooth; easy-to-use and attractive. -Appearance of business, product, and packaging is appealing; very eye-catching and modern. The staff are also professional and friendly. -The overall quality of the product is good and the shortbread cookie base is consistent in flavor and texture (excluding toppings).

Cons:

-Their flavors are VERY hit or miss. The gingerbread cake cookie? Absolutely delicious and complete. The pumpkin pie? Flavor-wise great but texture-wise terrible; the “frosting” was just…weird. Andes mint? Chocolate toothpaste 😬. White chocolate cranberry? Balanced. Lemon crinkle? Not lemony enough. So as you can see it’s very hit or miss, which is unfortunate for their price-point. Also, all of their cookies are a dense shortbread base so there isn’t much variety except for toppings/frosting, which may please some and discourage others. -They serve warm and cold cookies together, which doesn’t make sense to me. Some cookie flavors are chilled and some are served warm, which I understand, but in the same box with no differentiation of packaging? Doesn’t make sense to me especially for the price-point.

Would I eat a Crumbl cookie again? Yes. Would I go out of my way to do it? No. Would I be hyper-selective in my flavor choice? Definitely. Nevertheless, I hope...

Why have a cookie on the menu and it’s sold out. Place made absolutely no sense to me. They had about 6 or 7 people working in there all of them busy but yet they were out of a very popular cookie. SMH. And you don’t interact with a live person to order, instead you order all thru a computer kiosk. Then the person that brings out your cookie/cookies yells your name and says Thank You and out the door you go - hopefully. The place is so small and set up wrong you can’t hardly move around if there is a crowd which there was when we arrived. Now on the good side - I was surprised anyone would pay $4 for a cookie but after getting them I can see the why - they were HUGE. Big around and very thick. Taste was ok but on mine (chocolate chip) it lacked that certain something that would have put it over the top, but all in all it was good. This store is just another example of the newer generation. We tried them for the first time today! We loved the chocolate with chocolate icing one it was warm and delicious and the peanut butter banana!! Wished it wasnt chilled though but still very delicious!! The sugar cookie with the animal cracker on it was good for me but my husband doesn't like sugar cookies. My son loved that one! The milk chocolate chip was good but d didn't like it either. Death by chocolate(as i call it lol)-10/10 Pb banana-10/10 Sugar cookie with frosted animal cracker-7/10 Milk chocolate chip-8/10 for me 2/10 for my husband. I can't wait to try more of them!!!
