Bad from the start, I called ahead to make sure they had ribs. I explained that the last 2 times I was there, I ordered ribs and found out when my families food came that they were out. We have plenty l, no chance of running out. I live less than 2.5 miles away, and we pulled out of the driveway right then. Ordered and was told no ribs, but I called, I don't know who would have told you that we have been out for 3 hours. Ordered lamb and family got steaks. Apatizer, salads, and entree arrived within 3 minutes of each other... they can't understand basic timing. If my entree is there, I don't want an apatizer. Steaks way over seasoned, fries greasy, my lamb had no seasoning at all, my sweet potato was raw, bread for spinach dip was burnt.
I told my waitress and got told sorry, asked to have it fixed, and she told me it would be the same probably.
Trash on the floor, a table full of drunks next to us screaming and cussing in front of my child, 2 tables away some people who kept going outside to smoke weed and hold it in there lungs till they sat down then blowing it out choking and laughing.
The worst was a table in the back full of older people who were drunk, loud, and screaming and walking around, commenting on wall decor and people.
My wife became tired of it and said that after she used the restroom, we would just leave. While USING the restroom, one of the drunk women went under the stall to grab her foot and try and pull her off the toilet. She laughed and told her oh you are sitting and laughed more.
When exiting the restroom, the drunk woman's husband confronted my wife and told her not to get his wife in trouble.. when told I asked staff to help. They just stared at them and gossiped and told me to go do something.
The manager was in what looked like a janitor closet with the door mostly shut talking to a girl.
I confronted the drunks, and 2 of the men acted like they were going to fight me. I explained that wasn't a good idea because they were all over the legal limit, and she physically assaulted my wife. Plus, I would put them all to the ground. Finally, I talked to the manager, and he told me they come in frequently and behave like this, but he isn't allowed to do anything because they have to ask corporate
I explained that they over served people and they could lose their liquor license. It is a crime. He told me he can't cut people off, and they are regulars.
I'm out $114 for bad food and a wife who physically was assaulted.
Get your manager trained. The cops being called if they had stayed would have probably cost you your liquor license until...
Read moreWe had a 25 minute wait. Not their fault it was dinner time. We didn't feel the food quality was worth the cost though. Which was their fault. My date and I both ordered the "Longhorn Signature" cuts. My date ordered the Flo's filet which she asks to be prepared medium rare and it came out very well done. They did offer to prepare her another. But who wants to wait for their food while their date is eating theirs. I offered to wait with her of course, but she wouldn't have it because then my meal would have been cold. I ordered the signature "Longhorn" porterhouse which was fine. I usually order medium rare but I ordered medium due to the note on the top of the menu describing the way each preference was cooked. Glad I did because they're medium was what I've always considered medium rare. So that worked out, thanks to the description on the menu. But both of the sides I ordered were not good. Which was very disappointing considering they were both"Longhorn signature sides" which were over $5 extra on the bill instead of being included with the meal as is the regular everyday sides. The "Signature macaroni and cheese" was dried out. It was obvious that it had been sitting in a warmer much longer than it should have been. The other" Signature" side I ordered was the roasted brussel sprouts which were, I must admit prepared perfectly. They were crispy roasted on the outside yet tender but not over done on the inside. The problem I had with the dish was they smothered the perfectly cooked brussel sprouts with some overly sweet butter concoction which totally ruined the dish for me. I do not remember seeing any mention of sweetened butter sauce on the menu description of the dish. If I had, I definitely would not have ordered it. Our server was adequate. She took our drink order soon after we were seated and quickly returned with them. Our food arrived in a timely manner after we ordered. I would have appreciated a fresh drink or at least a top off, during the meal which I believe to be standard procedure. It is at every other restaurant I've been to. I did notice that the table across from us getting fresh drinks from the bar. Makes me wonder, if my beverage was an up-sale would my server have been more diligent to inquire about my drink needs. Overall, a somewhat disappointing...
Read morePretty close to the worst experience at a restaurant ever. I made reservations four hours in advance for six people. When we arrived at the restaurant five minutes before our time, we were told there would be a 25-30 minute wait. Thinking there was a misunderstanding, I explained we had reservations. The waitress/host supervisor just happened to be standing there (blonde hair lady- didn't get her name). She explained to me that was the wait for reservations. Then she proceeded to lie by explaining that the wait would be 1.5-2 hours without reservations. So we waited. At the time there were only about 12-15 people in the waiting area and there were 7 visable open tables. The next group to come in was a six person party. The hostess asked if they had reservations. When they replied no, they asked how long the wait would be. The hostess told them 25-30 mins. So obviously the manager had intentionally lied to us. We were finally seated after 50 mintues. Then the experience continued by taking 15 minutes for our waitress to come take our drink order. There also wasn't any bread brought to the table until about 25 minutes after being at the table. Finally at 7:50, 1 hour and 10 minutes after our reservation time our order was finally taken. The food was delivered promptly and was acceptable. The manager (same lady from above) came by and asked how our food was. Before anyone could reply due to having food in our mouth, she just smiled and walked off. The place was NASTY! Food, straw paper, candy wrappers, and utensils were all over the floor. One of our menus came with pages missing. When we informed the waitress she stated that happens a lot and BLAMED CUSTOMERS FOR STEALING THEM.... Let's just say Lomghorn will never see my business again. You need to replace the so called manager out front. Wonder why on a Sunday evening at prime time there is only a "25 minute wait" for walk ups? Never will return! (The picture of food all over the place is in the main walk path. You can see the legs of the baby seat sling in the pic. The other is the middle of the menu were the "customers keep...
