Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Kentucky

if i could rate this place a 0 stars i would. by far the WORST fast food place i have ever been too. how is replacement food worse than the original food we ordered??! when we first ordered our smoothie was watered down, the food was cold, forgot our side, VERY loosely wrapped AND was not cut all the way through. the wrap literally fell apart as soon as the package was unwrapped. the replacement food was no better because best believe i called and said something! anyways the replacement food was cold at first had to stay at the window to get them to remake it for a THIRD time, once we received the wrap IT WAS CUT THROUGH THE WRAPPING! towards the end of the wrap it was hard as a rock like it wasn’t cooked or completely over cooked, the corn was disgusting, and now they are ignoring my phone calls when i try to call back and say something! i’ve called 3 times and no answer, mind you we just left from there and was the only people there at the time. this is EXTREMELY disappointing considering this has NEVER been an issue before. ate here plenty of times and it has never been this bad. and that’s just on the food part alone, the customer service was just as bad, the lady at the speaker was so quiet i could barley understand her, and when i got to the window, (mind you this is when i go to get my replacement from the first time they messed up our food) i’m going to assume it was the manager which makes it even worse, he snatched the wrap out of hand after i told him it was cold and needed to be made fresh for the THIRD time. very disrespectful, and as someone who WORKS in fast food i get held to higher standards than that. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! never ever will...

Normally the smoothies are fine. We got the watermelon mojitos smoothie with large white chunks of what I assume are rind they were white and impossible to chew. We went back through the drive through and had her remake the smoothie. No change. I’m honestly frustrated, with the price of the smoothie you would think they wouldn’t use the inedible parts of the fruit. It’s super uncomfortable to have all that stuff get caught in the back of your throat. I went ahead and threw it away. I can only assume she just put it in the blender for longer instead of remaking it correctly....

Worst experience ever today. They were busy which is understandable. We did an online order and our food was out fast. When about 10 more minutes had passed I asked about our smoothies and she said oh I still have to make them. They finally brought out three of the four. I told her which one we were missing and she said ok. We heard the manager in the back screaming at the employees. Meanwhile I had to go up AGAIN after another 20 minutes and told another girl we had been there an hour and still missing a smoothie....
