I stopped in to see Bea during the first weeks I was enrolled at Ole Miss in the fall of 1991, as I had no furniture whatsoever and it seemed like a great place to find a bargain. As soon as my eyes fell upon an old steamer trunk I knew I had found it, and for the outrageous price of $70 back in those days, I hauled it back to my dorm room. Very lovely antique store! An actual antique store unlike some around Oxford which are actually boutiques. Very nice customer service and even offered to bring our purchases out to our car!! We will definitely be back and even bring friends!!!! It is like a treasure trove!!!! They were also willing to work with you on prices as well if the items were not marked!! I had a wooden futon for sale , this woman asked me to take- photos of it and bring them by.. I did as she asked, and she seemed interested. Until I refused her offer of $10.00 for my futon.
