The Depot Antique Mall — Local services in Oxford

Many “antique” malls in Mississippi, and especially Oxford, have mostly new, souvenir and decorator type items. Nothing wrong with that. It is just not what I want. The Depot has mostly antique and vintage items. I bought a very old Teddy bear with one eye, a bracelet, and a really lovely, unique silver brooch. I felt all these items were fairly priced, and I am happy with them. My only pique was that I was interested in another item which had no price on it. The clerk did try to contact the booth owner, to no avail. Not the fault of the mall. Dealers should price items if they want...

Thoroughly enjoyed our time in here. So much browsing to be done. Huge book selection - picked up a few classics at bargain prices. Biggest find of the day was a sterling silver necklace - after some polishing it's shining like new. Next time I'm in Oxford I'll definitely come through - can't wait to see what I find next.
