Highly informative history museum on LQC Lamar who served in Congress and the Supreme Court as well as many president cabinets. Prepare to have at least an hour or more to parse through this history. Phones do not work to contact the museum. It is owned by the city, so it closes for holidays, weather, etc, just as all city offices do. Docents are there during posted hours. Be sure to make it by 2:00 so you have time to walk through the...

No one was there. The hours were 1-3 on Thursday but when we got there at 2:30 no one was there. We have called many times during their hours...
