Delicious food, great service! 9/10. From the moment we stepped into Good Day Cafe, we were greeted with excellent service! They had cute seating options; definitely best to visit on a nice day. The menu was a little small but all the options seemed great. The only thing I didn’t love was that the water was already outside when we sat down so it was pretty warm. Food: We ordered the Good day salad, the Avocado toast, and split a cinnamon roll. The salad was great; very filling and the dressing was refreshing . The cinnamon roll was delicious and the lemon was perfect and made me realize all cinnamon rolls should have a touch of lemon from now on. The toast was also amazing and had a very good (we think) chili oil on it but, unfortunately the egg was a little too undercooked (a good bit of the whites were clear and runny). The reason I’m highlighting this is not because of the issue itself but, because of the excellent service that followed. Service: We informed a waiter and not only did they bring a whole new avocado toast and well-cooked egg, they also refilled the side and gave us a discount. This is definitely a must-try in Oxford and we’re excited to see them grow!

That reuben! Woowee! The meat was piled high, the kraut was tangy, and the sauce had a little kick of heat. I fancy myself a reuben connoisseur, and this one hit it out of the ballpark. The Voodoo chips were a great compliment, as well. The alleyway location with the walk-up window made it feel casual and exclusive at the same time. I would have loved to sit and enjoy my meal there, but the alley is pretty cold because it doesn't get much sunlight, even on an unseasonably warm winter afternoon. There aren't many tables, anyway, but I did find a 2-top open in the Lyric entryway. The service was exceptional. They were genuinely happy to hear how much I enjoyed my lunch, and gave many thank yous for my visit. Can't wait to go back!

1st time in Oxford, MS and this burger was phenomenal! Went with my Brother-in-law got the Avocado Toast and said it was great too! The seating is right outside, with some nice bench seating where you can quickly eat and keep exploring Oxford! The menu is small enough, where the team can focus on quality and if I'm ever in the area, definitely planning on grabbing lunch from here again! 😁

My 5th visit—consistent, excellent service at Good Day Café! Having every little detail of a quick lunch considered has elevated my expectations for dining locally in Oxford. They make the experience feel both personal and welcoming, without sacrificing precision or quality.

The tomato soup was stunning—clearly made with care. The burger was perfectly prepared, as always. And my bottle of birch beer? Who puts thought into chilling a bottle so perfectly that there was just a touch of slush in the neck? A small but delightful detail that really stood out.

Great food, considerate service, and incredible value. Weekly...
