The farmers market started earlier than the times listed on the website, Google, and Yelp. We arrived around 930 a.m., and to our surprise, all the vendors were already set up and ready to welcome visitors. The atmosphere was lively, warm, and inviting, perfectly showcasing the best of Ventura County’s local produce. We thoroughly enjoyed browsing through a vibrant selection of fruits and vegetables, including fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, oranges, and some stunning artichokes—I've been happily snacking on the latter ever since! Paddle boats or I must try oh, they even have a little arcade under a Mexican restaurant. I call it Margaritaville with some outstanding food and service. Calm and soothing environment with very very friendly people. On the other side is the dunes leading to the beach. A variety of nice little shops. With a view of the boats coming in to dock. We can't wait for Sunday to come to stock up on this delicious hummus and pita chips as equally fantastic! The lady who sells it is nice, kind and offers tasting samples when another hummus vendor there does not. Also, farmers market best place to get blood oranges 🍊. Of course shopping gets you hungry, stop by the tamale 🫔 stand and get a pork, chicken, beef tamale for $5. It's hot...
