Read moreThis is the access point to a 20,000,000 acre backyard. Paddle board, kayak, fish, swim, surf, hike, or anything you like to do around water. The crowds are very manageable in spite of the awesome location. On Sunday they have a farmers market that can get busy but the incredible local strawberries are worth it. The ocean is filled with sea life as well. the pic is of a harbor seal that couldn't stay off of my SUP . I'd scare him off and a minute later he'd hop right back up and in a few seconds back to sleep he went. Great place to visit for sure. Wonderful place to kayak, SUP, or charter a fishing trip. Several rental places and lots of charters available. You'll see sea lions, pelicans, cormorants, and other marine life, and there's even a small museum.
